    Harry mc gowen

I was just informed that the founder of Mc Gowen rifle bbls left us July 22 of last year.

Harry was a SELF TAUGHT walking encyclopedia on all kinds off firearms and a great old man to hang out with.

Glad I have some of his work in my collection.

    RIP OLD FRIEND.

I had not heard that, he is about 1:45 away from me. It was always nice to have him work on a rifle, you always got good work. I enjoyed the handful of times that I got to spend in his shop, it was always a good thing that he knew where the stuff was!

I also have a few rifles he built, sad to see him pass and the skill set leave the earth!
