Bair Kodiak and RCBS A2 press info please

I have the unfortunate duty to get rid of a bunch reloading equipment of a buddy of mine that can no longer load to help pay medical costs. In his room he had several presses, one A2 and a Bair Kodiak, I have had several people wanting to buy them but don't have a clue what there worth, had one fellow offer $50 bucks for both of them sounds a little low to me. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Bob

Not sure on the Kodiak but it won't even buy half of that A2.

I'd suggest doing an auction in the Swapping and Selling section for the A2, which has a cult following. It should go for considerably more than the price of a new Rockchucker (about $150).

I've been looking for an A2. I've let a couple on fleabay go by for the $200 mark. Not sure I want one that bad. The kodiak is a little harder to find. I love the Bair presses but they don't bring a lot. Search shows one sold on eBay for $75.

Depending on condition the A2's go for $180 to $220. I don't have a clue on the Bair Kodiak.

Thanks guys that gives me an idea. Depending on if I can afford one or both of them I my try and buy them myself. Partially because there the presses I learned to load on some 40 odd years ago, and partially because one or both of them would make one heck of a core seating press. These things look hell for stout.

A2s usually go from about $250 to $400 on ebay depending on condition.
The Kodiak might be about half of that range.

For either press if two guys decide they really want it you never know what will happen.
