Have been doing some bullet testing into water filled jugs for the last couple of years. The complete tests can be viewed over at The Campfire:

    4" .41 Magnum

    Handload:
    169 grain Mihec cast HP

    Just weighed the "leftovers"...

The HP was 67 grains and the PentaPoint 106...I have a feeling that the one solid I fired and penetrated through everything is still a solid...wherever it is...

Shot several cylinder full of these bullets today through a 5" 657, 3" 657 and a 357 Night Guard. Groups were good but low with both of the steel guns. The Night Guard has always shot high for me with 210s but with these light bullets they were right on.

Going to load up some to more in the 1000 fps range for the NG and they should make a fine practice round...

Semi-auto wise the 9x23 and .38 Super are as good as it gets....

Very nice! What's your alloy for these? I've been casting them of straight WW and so far just shooting them out of a Marlin and a 6.5" S&W for accuracy.

My friend made this alloy up a couple of decades ago out of wheelweights and some tin...that is all he remembers. It is pretty hard stuff.

Just got done casting/sizing more or of the smaller 640 boolit in solid, small HP and penta-point as well as a bunch of Keith solids and deep HPs and will post them soon...
