    Anyone know about Kings arms?

I read awhile ago about a company who took surplus parts of military rifles and made hunting rifles out of them...Any info? Thanks Rick

There was a shop in California I think in the 60's. One of the gun writer wrote up a revolver that had a custom King sight on the barrel that had a small mirror to reflect light onto the blade. Don't know if they messed with milsurp rifles or not.

Maybe you are thinking of Santa Fe arms. They did a land office business making sporters out of military rifles back in the '60's and '70's. Frank

Then there is the now defunct Kings Gun Works that made 1911 parts and was an early pioneer in the custom 1911 world.

Frank46: I know this is thread wander but I have an old Golden States Arms Santa Fe in 303 Brit. Not a bad looking old sporter and shoots pretty good. Has a 6 groove barrel which isn't unheard of but rare. GP
