    took one with the .444

Shot this buck during our gun week with the Marlin .444 with a 300gr cast from WW in front of 52gr of H322 @ about 100 yards. . I am very happy with Ohio allowing certain rifles. fB

Congrats fB! A fine whitetail buck with a great caliber. Should make some fine eating. I am heading out this weekend for cow elk with my 9.3x62 and cast boolit.

Nice buck. I am glad Ohio has allowed your use of certain rifles. The 444 is a great caliber. I have taken a couple of bucks with mine. I have had mine since something like 1970. Early on I made a brush gun out of mine and had the barrel cut back to 18". Now I wish I had not, but it is very handy in our brush around here.

Nice buck! Our season here is winding down, in fact, if it weren't for Fort Riley's season, I'd be done hunting bucks now, just the antlerless and remainder of Archery season left here state wise. I wish I'd see a buck like that this weekend.

Our numbers seem to be down this year, strongly considering leaving the .358 home this weekend and squirrel hunting instead, sure seeing a lot of them.

Congrats on the buck. My area in Michigan is now called the limited firearm area, instead of shotgun only. The DNR has changed the regs to allow certain CF ammo to be used for deer. Any straight walled cartridge, .35 cal or larger, with a case no shorter than 1.16", no longer than 1.8"

Congrats! I too took a nice fat doe with my 45/70 and a 355gr Ranchdog boolit. I'm pretty jazzed we can finally use rifles. Makes me want to go gun season again.

Great going!!! Happy for you guy's and the fact you can use certian rifle's! I hunted Delaware county years ago when I worked construction there. At that time I was hunting with a TC in 357 max.

Bet that will take a bite out of the in-line sales.

Congrats on the nice buck! I hunted SE Ohio with my 444s and got a couple of does during the rifle season, both were DRTs.
