No I dont think so. I have a 2 cav if you want to try out or trade for.
NOE has a .434", 44 cal., 310 gr. that I may have to get then................
Many thanks,
Ben
I'd go for the NOE. The Lee mold from what I am told can be hit or miss, some drop large enough most won't.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? Had to begal mine to get it to drop .431 where the 94 we likes em. Only took a few turns with a boolit and lapping compound you could they to get it to. 433 the NOE is ALWAYS a good bet. Cost more but you get more from what everyone here says.
Go NOE. Lee, like Lyman, seems to make many moulds that cast the size they think is best rather than make them the size that will work in most firearms.
My Lee 310 is fighting to cast even a .430 bullet when I would prefer a .432.
You will learn far more at the casting, loading, and shooting bench than you ever will at a computer bench.
My lee drops at 432. If I were going to buy another one however it would be a NOE.

Like the others have said my Lee mold had to be lapped to drop a .432" bullet. My gas check shanks were undersized also, which could have been a blessing since I was lapping anyway.I want to say it dropped .428" to .429" when new.

I just got a C430-310-RF from Mid South and the first run of boolits with it measure in at .4315 average . The alloy was 50-50 . I'm sizing to .431.
Haven't shot any yet.
Looks like another order
to NOE for old Ben........................
I just cast a bunch today with my 13 year old Lee 2 cavity. They measured around .430"-4305" with WW/scrap/and some tin Babbitt.

That seems about the " norm ".
I really need .433 "
Thanks,

Lee C430-310-RF with Gas Check (GC) and converted to Plain Base (PB)
With GC shank weight 306 grains cast from 50% pure lead - 50% hardball alloy.
With GC shank weight 282 grains cast using my mix of mostly Mono/Linotype.
PB no GC shank weight 265 grains cast from 50% pure lead - 50% hardball.
My Lee C430-310-RF will cast a boolit between .430 and .431 - I have to cast with quite a bit of Lino in the mix to get it up to .431 - If I need any more, I have to Beagle it.
I obtained the mould around April 2013, it is not one of the newer LH designated ones.
I hoped to use the GC version in rifle,(but it's too small) and PB version in my 629. Wish mine cast larger, as I really do like the meplat.
It's was a gamble for me going with the inexpensive Lee mould, and it didn't pay off. I wouldn't take a chance with one again, if I wanted or needed a .433 boolit Ben. Unless you feel really lucky, or don't mind lapping one out.
I recommend going with the custom mould instead.
