    Star Lubsizer Fleabay Auction

Here's an opportunity to get in on the fun of the Star machine, 6 days remaining, biddings at $100 as I write this. Includes a 429 die.

I already have one so you won't be bidding against me.

Hmmmm....bidding is now at $355 plus $15 shipping for a nice but used Star Lubsizer....and Magma wants $335 and probably the same shipping chargers for a brand spanking new one WITHOUT a die....

    bet this goes to $400!!!

Makes a lot of sense when you can get a new one for less.

I like eBay in April or May after the elections and sandyhook, I sold one of my 650's for over $1800.

I would say you have to pick your battles.

Yep, that is how I sold the 650 for that much. I am patient though and noticed the chance to upgrade to a 1050 without spending any money.

I guess if I sold my six Star sizers, I could just about buy a new truck, if my timing was right......... And that doesn't include the two dozen sizing dies and another two dozen top punches. It would be the first time I ever bought low and sold high! It's always been the other way around for me.....

What's the current wait time for a Star? In time for Christmas may be worth a buck or three.

A call or email would answer that question.

I've been lusting after a Star sizer but there is no way I'm paying more for a used one of unknown condition than a new one would cost me. I stopped looking at the ebay star linked by the OP when the price went to $355. It may be spring time before I can afford one anyway.

I'd never have thought it would get up that high, and it's still got 1 day 3 hours to go!

Not sure where the gold is on that one, but has to be there somewhere

Time is money. I seem to recall the wait time for me was eight weeks but that was a while ago.

Having both a Magma and a Star I do not see why the Star would be worth any more money. Both of my machines work the same. No difference except for the color and lack of. Maybe I should sell off my Star and buy another MAgma and end up with cash in my pocket.
