Anyone heard from him? He has not been logged in for a long time. It does not even show the last time he logged in anymore.

I noticed a couple of months he hadn't been on in a while, so sent him a pm. He answered that everything was OK, just busy with other stuff.

He doesn't drop by every day and moves around on the forum a fair bit. He's been pretty busy with something for several months, he's working on a project that I helped push him into and hasn't been able to spend much time on it, frustrating for both of us.

So does that make you a bad or good influence TXGunNut?

Good, of course! Why do you ask? I've occasionally been accused of being an enabler but that doesn't take much around here. If someone shows a desire to head down a path I'm familiar with I'm happy to add a little momentum to help get him where he wants to go.

'Cuz I've trained several reloaders - converted several to quiet (suppressed) shooters and have been called a "bad" influence (mainly by the spouses)

That makes it a matter of perspective. Apparently I lack the "good spouse" gene so I could be seen as a bad influence by members of the opposite sex. Some women even seem a bit threatened by my cooking skills and my impressive collection of small kitchen appliances but I try not to let it bother me. Being single isn't all that bad, would be better if I had a dog around here again, tho.

I would be very angry if somebody sent me a box of bees.

An older friend of the family used to go weekly and get bee stings because of arthritis! It really helped from what I heard. Somewhat unpleasant at the time, but worth the slight pain and sometimes puffy results for a while.
