    Thoughts / questions

Been offline for a time but the brain still keeps going......

Does anyone make a reasonable priced hand operated roll crimper? Or be able to make them in a basement shop?

Been thinking with the ammo and component shortages that maybe it would be wise to buy new 3" hulls and roll crimp so that as needed I could keep trimming the hull a 1/4 inch down to a 2 inch hull.

Dixie tri ball load, anyone still making them since the owner of the company is ill and not selling the loaded ammo?

Still kicking around the idea of doing away with the wads and using wraps. Did the factory guys go to plastic wads because they are better? Or because it saved them time / money by switching to them?

Speed - fast and light load vs a slow heavy load for deep penetration........

Aside from the drill head ones I linked to, the only roll crimping machines I have seen are antiques.

The antiques part means lots of money

Was hoping someone saw a money making idea and started making new ones.

I've seen them on ebay from time to time, and not too expensive either.
