I originally posted this in the Pit back in 2012 but instead of just bumping the old thread I thought it was worth re-posting it in Our Town so more people could see it.

At this time of year, I am writing this on December 7th, we should take time from our festive activities to remember those who sacrificed so much to insure we have the freedoms to enjoy those activities.
