I have had the same issues with the Argentine primers. They seem to have a very thick and hard cup, which some of my guns handle ok, but some are erratic. I only have one rifle that takes small primers, and I haven't tried it yet with SyA primers.

Cast 300+ NOE 480-375- FN boolits. Used to use them in both 470 N.E. and for 480 Ruger. Only do the Ruger infrequently now. Another hundred or so today will give me more than a lifetime supply. Then it will be time to move the mold down the road.

Getting time for a serious reduction in the stuff in the shed, can't find stuff no more. Been looking for an arbor for my wood lathe for 4 days.

I give up, going to buy a new one today

made up a box of 380 Auto; 95 gr Lee as cast over 2.5 gr Promo, Ginex primers. And also one box of 9mm Para; 356402 over 4.3 gr promo, also Ginex primers. The 9mm I have to add a taper crimp step after seating because my FEG pistol is finicky about feeding.

I poured a few hundred RCBS 44-245-SWC's for my 44 Magnum. Loading up most all the brass I have with that bullet and 10 grains of Unique.

Going to have to drill and tap that mold for a sprue cutter bolt set screw as it is driving me crazy constantly loosening and slowing me down.

Started tumbling brass yesterday. Did 4 loads yesterday, 2 hours each, and have the 2nd load running so far today. Hope to do 4 today and finish up tomorrow.

I haven't done anything in a year. I have picked my life up and moved out of the socialist state of Illinois to the free state of Arkansas. I had a "barn" delivered and have been making a loading/ repair shop. Hopefully I will be back at it by June.

Cast some 40-82’s from 2 new to me Winchester molds. One cast a .405 the other a .408 diameter pill. To finish the pot cast some 405gr hollow base for the trapdoor.

Cast some heavies for the 32WCF. Got through 65 and realized that I had lent the rifle to another lion hunter.

De-primed 500 38 Special cases. If I can motivate myself I might go back out and flare them.

Been diligently working up loads looking for accuracy from my new SA Echelon with my MP-136-138-RN NLG BB boolits AA#7 pwd and cci 500 primers. I’m new at this but never been so difficult before. Have gone through most of a lb of pwd so far. Shooting aabout 40 rounds per day since before Christmas. Even moved into 10yds even shot a box or two of Factory to see. They did very well so still trying. And yes did dabble with other pwds with not so much success. Besides I want to make the #7 work. The loads that work quite well won’t cycle well around 850’. Going on into +P territory next and tomorrow breaking out the XDM

I got those 500 38 Special cases flared and primed tonight.

This increased the count for priming with my new RCBS Auto Prime tool to approximately 3,000 primers installed since mid-September. So far, I really like it. Should have bought one years ago. The only problem I've had with it was that the handle pivot bolt loosened at something like 700 primers. I cleaned the threads and retorqued it with Red Loctite and have had no problems with loosening since.

Setup a new Win 11 4k ASUS laptop today. been using an iPad for 9 years. Perhaps I can now use 50+ years of data and photos from my PC. Learning IOS from Win was fun now relearning Win from IOS, happy to have a back space. Will be nice to carry my current reloading data from the shop to the house with me.

I used the last of my Varget to load a few 6.5x55 Swedish with 140 gr Hornady bullets.
    I had a teaspoon left.
I put it on a steel plate and lit it.
    Burns slower than I thought!

Loaded some of the older AA hulls in 12 gauge. Just amazing how great they crimp.

The worst accuracy I've ever had out of one of my pistols was when trying to load low velocity loads with slow burning powder. For me it was 9mm with Shooters World Major Powder which is equivalent to AA#7.

Same powder shoots very accurately with high velocity loads. I disassembled those low velocity loads and reused the bullets with a fast powder and they were very accurate. Ditch the slow powder for low velocity loads.

Got 3 new Lee molds. Been awhile since I used any Lee’s since I got on the HP bandwagon. They sure cast well.

I have realized I enjoy casting solid bullets better…
