A couple of days ago, before the snowstorm hit, I loaded a box of 185 grain bullets into 45ACP brass in preparation for a trip to the range.
Finally got a chance to go. The trip was successful. All the loads went bang and hit the target as well as a bunch of boolits I had loaded previously.
Always a good day when everything works.
    Today I cleaned the pistols.

I was going through my brass stash, found a large coffee plastic container full to the brim of processed .223 brass about 500 and i thought i was out after trading for 1000 that came in last week. Still have about 200 waiting to be processed. After this batch I’ll be out of SRP. Till can trade for more, sure cant buy any at the prices i been hearing about.

Loaded up 100 - 35wcf. Planning on making chopping water holes a little more fun for my family on Valentine's day. -23° makes for at least 2 hours of axe work every morning.

Today was tweaking the 3d printer, trying to eliminate some stringing issues, so I can one day print out my bullet/case feeders...

I bought an RCBS Bench mounted priming tool. I been having a good time priming a batch of brass then loading. I did over 500 rounds over the weekend.
    One round at a time.

Star-sized a half dozen different bullets, proudly finished, tidied up some and found another batch of the first ones I sized, so I swapped the die and punch back in and sized the new hundred or so LBT 502-420-LFN gc with LBT blue in a Lathesmith .502 die. Love his work.

Mal, any load data for those yet? I cast up a bunch but haven’t had a chance to PC or load any but looking forward to it.

On Sunday I finally had some me time away from Kids (on Valentines day no less) so, despite the 18deg weather here in Michigan I spent a couple hours over my little propane melter (thanks again Lakehouse) and melted 100# of lead sheeting RogerDat picked up for me and another 60# of wheel weights I got over the summer from HistoricFirearms.

Thanks guys, I keep working towards the one ton club. With so little time to shoot with young kids better to build my supply now cause as soon as their old enough I’m hoping to need it for their shooting.

I've been shooting the HPs subsonic over 10g of N350 for about 1,000 fps and over 20g of 2400 for 1300+ fps in 4-6 inch revolvers. Accuracy is at least decent but I need to shoot more to see if it is exceptional.

I turned on the propane stove 3 hrs ago- I’m going to spend some time out there if it gets up to 30degrees in there. The barn cat is happy about the stove- he’s set up his nap station a few feet away....

Some animals are weird... My dog is afraid of heaters. It can be below freezing..and I can turn a heater on on the enclosed porch for him and look out 5m later and he will be standing against the farthest wall staring at the heater... Till I turn it off. 10m or 2 hours.
