Got in an NOE adapter and .452" die for my Star sizer.
Oh yeah - also got a pack of artists' pencils so I can play around with checking relative hardnesses of alloys.
Loaded 169 350 legend 180 grain SUPER sonics!
Gonna shoot that at the comp this weekend.

I loaded up my 275 gr. WFNGC bullets for my 43 Magnum Henry rifle. Now if I can only stop my scope mount from shaking loose.
Fired some 7.62x54r rounds over the chrono from my M39. 16gr 2400 powder, Lee C312-185 boolit. 1500 fps.
Decapped, cleaned the primer pockets, and washed the 20 pieces of brass.
Yep, washed. In hot soapy water, and used a brush on the inside of the necks.
The brass is out on the porch waiting for the fog to burn off, then maybe the sun will dry everything up.
Loaded some 30 carbine and found a loaded 45-70 that was missing a primer and leaking powder gee i wonder how that happened.
Those who would trade freedom for safety deserves neither and will lose both
loaded up 100x 357mag boolits 195grgc with 11.5 gr 2400 .just to keep some in stock so i dont run out.
I loaded up 50, 44 mags for deer season and 50 ,45 Colts for deer season to go along with 50 of my 45-70's that I loaded up for deer season. Gee,I wonder which rifle I will take hunting with me this year. At any rate, I have enough ammo to get my one deer.
Yesterday I tried out a power case trimmer that will remain nameless. One of the set screws kept coming loose so I was getting inconsistent case lengths. So today I pulled out a case gauge and it had very light rust on it. Pulled out every other case gauge and placed them in evaporust for a few hours. Rinsed them off, oiled them up well and placed them in the bag which I put oil in as well. Guess I forgot to oil them over the past few years. Ordered up some airtight containers so I don’t have this problem in the future.
Cleaned up an old MEC Sizemaster. Next: Learn how to adjust the sizing collet.

Well I bought a lb of rl7 while on a fishing trip vacation I do each year, but that’s it and the fishing trip was successful to.
After owning my Marlin Guide Gun for about 6 years, I FINALLY got a few cast bullets (cast two years ago) loaded yesterday. Today, hopefully, I will test for proper feeding and run them downrange, to check velocities, monitor pressures, and hope that I can keep them on paper.
These are 430 WNGC bullets, and my first attempt at powder coating! The process start to finish, presented lots of challenges! This was my first time using RL 7, boy, it sure meters nicely through my 60+ year old Ideal Powder measure!
I need to hurry up with my loading/testing. I like to do load development on hot days, to minimize the possibility of “over pressure” situations on a hot day when out shooting. I don’t think I have many 90 degree days left this year!
Will soon.....go shoot a few light load, 300 grain, powder coated, cast bullets, that I loaded for my 460 XVR. After a near 30 year hiatus, I’m slowly getting back! memtb

Hey Doc, I wish that my 430’s for my 45-70 were as “purrty” as yours! memtb
