I PC'd 280 40 caliber boolits in Traffic White from Smoke... I like it; they look nice.
I still have about 250-300 to PC... I need to cast some more.

I promised pictures of what Ive been doing since I haven't been reloading. First full size bench. 10ft long, 30in deep, tied together with carriage bolts, stained Minwax Espresso. Still have to tie the legs together and finish bolting down the presses but you get the idea.

Got my hands on 150 pieces of new, unfired PPU brass for 7.62x54r.

Started prepping brass. Uniformed and deburred the flash holes on 100 pieces. Then full length sized those same. Lost one piece due to a poorly adjusted sizing die.

One would think that, after 30+ years of reloading, mistakes would be a thing of the past. Unfortunately, mistakes are always lurking; just waiting to strike.

Broke in my new Lee TL452-230-2R mold so I can get them coated and loaded tomorrow to try. I was having feed problems with the 452-228-R1 boolits. Click image for larger version.

    Just some organizing.
Also unboxed a couple NOS MEC 600 JR MK5 presses. 12 and 20 gauge.
Unbolted my older models and sold them.
I need to bolt that bench to the wall and set up the new MECs properly. Can't wait to shoot some pheasants and quail with my own ammo.

Hoping to make up a few 44 special tonight. It's been too long since I've made some ammo.

Today it was beautiful in southern Indiana, almost 50 and sunshine. Charlie and I went to the range and unloaded a pile of 9mm.
Mine was home cast of course.

My granddaughter is here today recovering from a week long bug. She was feeling a bit better and wanted to help Papa reload so I put her to work filling primer tubes for me. I never turn down help doing that.

Worked on one of my pickups, “de-hoarded” my old mahogany cabinet I built in high school to make room for more “gun stuff”, and primed and flared 100 previously sized .45 ACP brass. I’ll be taking the hoarded stuff to the dumpster tomorrow. I’m applying the “5 year rule” here- by golly!
