About ten years of infrequent use. Mostly hit on wood but sometimes concrete. I’ve finally learned to load 5 cartridges and try them before proceeding with the batch!

Since I don't have a range like some of you guys I load 50 at a time. That ends with fun at moments though. Like how I have a box of .45 ACP here I know is going to stove pipe every round. Maybe I should stick with wheel gun ammo.

Not much of anything lately. Been involved with hunting season and probably will be until years end. I do have stuff saved up to do and as soon as it warms up I'll be casting.

Not 100% sure where to put this, so I figure this thread is as good as any... Here is what I did in my reloading room last night...

Mine needs some major house keeping done. I wanted to remodel it when we redid the kitchen but it didn't happen. I'll jump on it after hunting season is over.

Ouch.. Looks like an opportunity to get a cam puller and a bunch of collets. I leave a puller in an old lee c press all the time now.

My Dad is coming to town for Christmas and said he wants to go to the shooting range... He taught me to shoot when I was about 10 by going out to the desert and shooting 22s and 38s. (This was 30-somthin years ago)
In my adult life, I've never been to the range with my Dad and he said he wanted to go. So, I have a thing I like to do when I explain why I really enjoy reloading and it is to take three 44 magnum loads: Trailboss, Unique and W296 and have them shoot one of each in that order.
So, went to my ammo bin and Unique - check, W296 - check.... I've got NO trailboss loads!!! So, loaded up about 50 44 mag with Trailboss. Should be a fun time.

I resized 6 45-70 300gr HP bullets to 452 then I loaded up 6 rounds. 39, 40 and 41gr of Hodgdon H4198. I made a dummy round and fed it through my AR-15 and it seemed to work well enough. At some point I'll end up with a mold to try but in the mean time these cost me under .10 each. Expecting some stout results from these in my AR pistol as I've been shooting 265gr. Maybe I should upgrade to something a little gentler shooting than an A2 grip and add a muzzle brake.

    I loaded up a dummy 350 W/ a Saeco 180g bullet.

Gonna squeeze some More down to 356 and send’em down range!

I had an RCBS that looked like that after a few years. I have one of that brand that isn't broken yet.

Polished 200+ 223's, then full length sized them, then back in the polisher to take off the lube.

Been runnin' brass in the wet tumbler for the past couple of days. Of course that required decapping it all before it went in with the pins.
Man!! is that stuff purty!!Attachment 253509
