While I was packing brass last night it was all I could do to not stop and load up some .45 Colt. My favorite cartridge to load!

Cast a handful of NOE 453423, Lyman 358156 and Lee 457-405
Lubes and sized the first two but I'll save the 405s for paper patching

YESTERDAY, AM I cast a pot before the heat set in. Some NOE 360-232 and Lyman 180 rnfp 10mm. Then powder coated the RD’s copper

Last night loaded up my first box of 358Norma Magnums. But powder puff trail boss loads with same 230g RD cast bullet.

Looking forward to shooting this rifle.

Deprimed and washed the 60 pieces of 7.62x54r I fired at the club match yesterday. Set them out in the sun to dry. At least, they'll be in the sun once the sun comes up.

Emptied one of my boolit traps, rescued 18+ pounds of mixed lead.

I finally shot up my mixed supply of 22-250 loads. I’ve had a box of 60 gr Hornady sp sitting around forever so they are chosen. With Superformance they will supposedly get 3700 FPS so watch out varmits!

My least favorite thing in reloading... Brass processing - in particular I had a bunch of 5.56 cases with primer crimps. Grinding primer crimps - meh.

I find it easiest to load the primer crimp cutter from my Lyman hand tool in my drill and cut the crimp. Loaded 300 rounds last night of 223 and cut about 50 primer crimps out.

I did the best thing possible in a reloading room last evening. The husband of the lady who has been helping us with moving expressed an interest in reloading. A few days later, last evening, we sat down and loaded his first 100 rounds of ammunition. The best part was that he really enjoyed it and appreciated the attention to detail.

. Dillon 600 makes short work of crimps. But your right its tedious and extra process most dont like.

Just get the proper mind set. Maybe do it separately...

Loaded 6 test loads in 358 Norma Magnum tonight!

Two of my 200g loads from the other day would not chamber... apparently they “grew” more than .010. 2.535 long case will not chamber. Its supposed to be 2.520 MAX & recomended trim is 2.510.

Finished off my loading for the match this weekend with 100 .223s...
I started really thinking when loading these that I think I want to not load .223 and I do want to load for 300 ham'r... But, I don't have a 300 ham'r upper, so now how to plan the upper build and how to sell to the wife... My work is cut out.

I was lookin at a 300 H’mr... then bought a 450 BM Ruger American. Kinda trumps da H’mr.

I trimmed some re formed 358 NM to 2.510 and de burred them. A Necessary evil... But made easier in the power trimmer!
