Went to load up some 44 Mag to replace the ammo I shot up last week, and found I had no boolit supply !

Went down to the barn and fired up the pot. Poured ~15 pounds of Lee TL430-240SWC from 50/50 +1% alloy. I started tumble lubing in BLL, may be able to load some tomorrow.

What did you do in the reloading room today?

Rearranged the powder supply to fit a few more jugs on the shelf. I need to start shooting more to use up what I have.

Not much. I did load up some fire forming loads for my 30/30 a.i., enough to fill the empty holes in my box...

Did some more prep on recently acquired brass, .22 Hornet, .222 Rem & 22-250
All that's left to do is trim the Hornet to length, that'll get done today
By the way, some Hornady Hornet brass has smaller than normal flash holes!

Organized, tumbled a bunch of brass.
I haven't cast in weeks maybe longer so I'm just about out of every type of boolit I cast.
    Sad situation

Little "blizzard" coming thru. Took a break from muzzleloader hunting to let the winds do their thing & drop. Tomorrow, Sunday, or MOnday I will go again.

Until then, 150 rounds of 9mm, with some 124 & 125 gr. TC & some 124 RN are going to be the next go round...

Then, back out in the field & woods.

Cast some 30 caliber boolits today with my new NOE mold. That mold took about 4 or 5 casts to start making nice boolits, but after that it was like magic,
    Love NOE molds.

Yesterday cast ~ 500 Lee 358125 RF from WCWW. Today sized all at .358 and lubed 50 with Speed Green and 50 with Ben's Liquid Lube. These are to test in my 9mm for accuracy and lack of leading.

I was thinking that I probably have more brass and boolits ready to load than I'll ever shoot, but just can't stop.

Maybe a marathon session at the range, but then I'd just be picking up brass and starting over again, not to mention berm mining....

    You are my reloading hero!
I have tons (almost literally!) of reloading components, and dozens of platforms to reload for, but never seem to have any time to actually reload and shoot. If there was ever any hope of retiring, I might think I could do it then, but that tunnel is still pretty dark!
So, I reload and shoot vicariously, through you and the members of this forum. Please keep posting!!

I'm working my way through the rest of the RD 9mm-130s that are GC'd and PC'd, loading in Win 9mm cases (free range pickups that have been pin washed and inspected) and loading over 4.0/Universal (from Ranchdog's load notes).

When that's finished I'll start on some 45 Auto Rim with boolits (200ish gr) that were cast several years ago, recently sized and PC'd. They were cast from some old Lee 1-cav moulds that were gifted to me a long time ago and make very good boolits (but slowly). Should make for good plinking in a M1917. Probably load them with Bullseye.

Then onto some 45 Colt loads from the other old Lee 1-cav (255 gr sized to .454) - planning on loading them for a lever gun. That will use up all those boolits that have just been sittin' around for a long time. If they shoot good, I'll keep some load notes for future reference. Some of those old Lee 1-cav moulds are a little treasure in and of themselves, even though they are slow going. Taken care of they will cast a lot of good boolits.
It ain't rocket science, it's boolit science.

Dropped a few pills for the 357 Sig. I am tempted to try these in 9mm and the 357 Mag.
Looks like a marathon PC session coming up soon.
