Sized and checked ~400 of the NOE 316-213-RN, for the Mosin 91/30

Dip lubed some of them - all lined up in front of the fan -

Loaded up 20 .40cal with Berry's 165gr for my SW M&P and IMR Target to try and work up a load. Last weekend I used the same 165gr and Bullseye. Worked but shot low and right.

Put some primers in some 30/30 brass and put a LOT of .45 ACP brass into a LFRB to trade for a set of 30/30 a.i. dies......

Yesterday I poured 45 to 50 pounds of .431 boolits for my .44 Mag and 445 Super Mag then sized them that evening. Now, today I'm lubing and loading a batch of boolits I casted a couple weeks ago to go shoot this afternoon. . .Mother Nature permitting.

Tried a couple of .40cal loads and found that a 165gr Berrys plated over 5.0gr IMR Target avgs at 950fps or so and is dead center. The M&P does not like powder puff loads it would seem

Loaded 300 rounds of .45 Colt with the Lee 200 gr FRN over 6.5 grains of 700X for a nice light load in the Blackhawks and Vaqueros. Then mixed up some 10:1 lanolin lube and sized some LC brass in 5.56.

Trying a few loads of 11 gr Herco in a 30/30. Going to shoot them to fire form the cases...
I just can't shoot toilet tissue or other stuff to fire form. I like to see holes in the target. Just wish I had some lighter boolits to load.....

Got out the turkey fryer smelter, and getting setup for the weekend, as I have 410 lbs. of range pickups, to melt down for casting. I have been waiting for a cooler weekend, without rain. Just picked up propane, and I'm all set.

Melted around 30lbs of wheel weights into ingots and separating the Fe and Zn from the lead. I have about 150 more lbs to go through before I start casting.

Backsliding a bit by loading long range 8x57 mm with Hornady 170gr SST. I want to try CFE 223 based on the velocity/ pressure ratio shown in the Hodgdon magazine format manual.

This is what happened to me last night loading some 38 SP's. Glad I caught it.

Oh, that one has ONE more firing in it.
I got a box of 25-06 and a box of .244 Rem from a nice gentleman on GBO. He wanted $20 for those "old" brass so I gave him $30- happily! They are beautiful (Norma).
