Just received my RF100 from Dillon, what a dream. Loaded up 1k 9mm and only stopped to remove primer tube from the RF100 add primers and back to reloading. Did find out that Tula primes don't work worth a hoot in the RF100. But drops Winchester primers easily with no issues.

Organized some stuff and labeled a lot of bins and storage containers with some custom stickers I made. Hopefully it will help make finding things a bit easier and my loading time a little more enjoyable.

Never tried different molds for weight, the two molds I used were the Lyman for the .43 Spanish and a Noe mold that throws a 480 grain 460 dia I bought to load 450 nitro express with.

This is the hardest part of a new mold ------ Waiting for it to arrive isn't that bad but now --- I unpacked it, drooled a little, scrubbed it twice with a toothbrush and dish soap and now it's going through 4 seasoning cycles in my PC/HT oven.I won't get to cast with it until tomorrow

Well, I finally got my two Swede rollers, one got sent to the some folks up in WI, instead of coming to me, and the other actually got here without going by way of the 12 state tour. Well all's well that ends well. So, time to get to work on the getting some ammo made up so this old war horse can get rolling again. Here was my afternoon.

Got out the Dremel tool and cut the 50 Alaskan down to just under 44mm, and see if they will chamber.

Well, perfect fit. Now that issue is off the table.

Now its time to slug the bore. Got out a box of Remington golden balls of 54 cal.

And these puppies sure do have a muzzle.

These bore slugs measured out .513

And now I have 20 pieces of brass to start working up loads.

I spent my afternoon cutting down belted magnum brass for my .458x2 American. I used a new cutting jig from the same place that made my .300 acc blk jig.
It worked great. Cut about 300 shells down in a little over an hour and I am slow. Now I just need to size them, cut them down to spec on the trimmer, clean and polish and I'll be ready to do a bit of reloading. 405 grain cast and .325 jacketed ftx. Thank goodness the weather has finally warmed enough to allow me to spend time in the shed.

Emptied a batch of clean brass out of the wet ss pin tumbler yesterday and put them into the dehydrator overnight, so now I'm going to head down to empty the dried cases and will anneal them today. Yesterday I also started pulling down a small bucket full of mixed junk ammo to salvage the bullets for fire-forming and will try to finish off the rest of them today. When I'm done with those I'm sure that I can always find something else to do down in the shop ...
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Since I got 20 pcs of brass cut yesterday for the rollers, I figured today to prime, powder, add some COW, and this time noooooooo glue. Got me some wax from wally world, melted it, poured it into a couple of large pans and let it cool to use as wax plugs over the powder and COW. Looks like tomorrow I will pop the caps as long as it does not rain.

One pound of wax in these trays poured out a 1/8" thickness wax plate. Just break into quarters an tap with a non-marring hammer while wax plate on top of case. Quick n fast.

Put together the final pieces of my rifle black powder drop tube stand. Now I can load some of the new Swedish 12,7x44R a black powder cartridge for a couple of rollers that I will now give the moniker of " OlDeuce Rollers" in memory of Randy Mead who inspired me to acquire them, and I doubt if I will ever pick them up and not think of him. Here is the stand, and here (center image and one on the right) , far left was the one that started it when I saw the roller Randy was using for his Winter rolling block project and the initial roller I started with due to Randy's enthusiasm.

Finally got around to slicking up the action on the Rossi 357. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Wish my trigger gauges was not packed in a box for moving. I would like to know how light I got it. Feels like 2--2 1/2
