Broke down unknown rounds. Shotshells and metallic. Always interesting how other people reload and live. Ok yeah, made a new shelf for powder cans.

    Grmps try this...

Use a short allen head screw for the threaded part to attach to the cutter shaft and weld a small nut driver tool to it. Use the small one that has the same size diameter as the allen head screw...here I had to grind a groove in it so the driver drill would snap it's chuck onto the hex shaft so I can push/pull the cutter shaft in and out of the brass without disconnecting the drill driver from the new driver adapter.
Heck, I think RCBS even sells these little adapters too.

This driver drill is small and lightweight so I didn't need to make a wood slide to align & carry the weight of the driver. I think Home Depot sells various brands in the 7.2 VDC version, they have plenty of power & torque as they are designed for drivers and not particularly as drill motors.

Sorted 2 buckets of wheel weights while waiting on the ball games to start. Gonna cheer for Arkansas even though they are having a bad year!

Spent Turkey Day with wife's siblings, family members, and acquaintances about 2.5 hrs WNW of here at my BIL's place... Helped my nephew with a problem he was having with his Hornady LnL where it was crushing the shoulder .300 WinMag brass he was trying to reload. He just had the bullet seating die too far down so that the portion that went over the neck of the cartridge was pushing down on the edge of the shoulder right by the neck. Interestingly, even damaged that bad, they were able to be restraightened by running them through the normal sizing die. Considering how bad that looked, I was expecting them needing to be fire formed to get back in shape (assuming they would even chamber considering what shape they were in).

im still looking for a .005 piece of shim around here somewhere; gunny told me to put a piece between the toolhead and the press on my Dillon 550 to take up slop.
other than for that:- i am depriming .223's cases to prepare for reloading more of those. today it cost me $90 at the reloadoc store. 2 X $2.99 for decap pins on my lee Universal decap die plus a # of H335 (i wanted H322) and 500 x 55gn projectiles.
not a bad start and its only 3:30PM. ate more T day pie too!

Sorted 38 Spec brass by headstamp. (Why?!)

Loaded 10 rounds of 38 Spec with 158gr Zero bullets and 4.2gr of Unique to try in the Taurus.

    Cast about 300 175gr 40 cal bullets.

Took apart a LAM1 a member was kind enough to send me for just postage. Boiled it in a pot to remove the lube, it was covered in it. Just waiting for the pot to cool so I can remove the pieces. Then it's a matter of removing any residual lube and putting the small parts in Evaporust.

Also found out the Lee Perfect Powder Measure doesn't like throwing Unique consistently. Might have already known that, but forgotten it.

Ran out of time for any real reloading work. I did manage to confirm I don't need to size the Lee TL356-124-2R for my new to me Star Super A and BLL'ed the 10 pounds I cast the other day. I hope they work well because it is so easy using as cast boolits.

What caliber is your Star Super A?
Mine is in 9mm Largo, and I would like
to find a 9mm Luger barrel.

It is 9mm Largo, which I already load for in some Destroyers. I almost passed it up because of the bore, but glad I did not as it is from the same year (1950) as my favorite Destroyer. A 9mm Luger barrel would be nice, but Largo brass is available and easy to load.

Yes, and I also can shoot the largo in my 38 Super guns though some require a lighter spring

Did a case conversion in reverse, had 5 range pickup 300 Weatherby Magnum cases in the orphan case bucket. Ran them through my 300 H&H sizer, then trimmed them to length, converting them back to the parent case. Chambered perfectly. Next anneal and load.

Loaded 412 rounds of .38 Spl.

    Lee 358-125-RF, 4.3gr HP38. My new go-to
    38Spl round for casual shooting. About 825fps from a 6" S&W M-14.

412 rounds, because that's how many boolits I had. I'll fire up the pot this week, and get out the 6-banger.
