I reloaded 150 rounds of 9mm, tumbled 500+ 223 brass to remove lube, now I am going to size them using my new WFT trimmer, then reload about half of them with 55gr cast boolits that I have powder coated, and the other half with 55gr FMJBT bullets. Early tomorrow I'm going to my range and unload a whole bunch of the lead ones using my Mossberg MVP.

Boxed up & drove 40 miles round trip to return a 30-06 mold that was drilled off center. Not really a, "What did I do in the Reloading room?" , but in a way it was.... Pert near, since I was gonna cast some of them & reload...

I hope to not repeat those doins & I will be reloading some more .380 tonite for shooting again tomorrow. Seems the kids & the missus like that cheap shooting more than .22 now a days.

Started sizing some of the bullets that I cast over the last few months. Finally emptied my 450 sizer so I can fix the lube leak. Got it apart and cleaned up but did not have the correct size "O" ring.

That reminds me of a time, years ago, I went deer hunting with a new guy. we both had day-packs, and one evening we were discussing what we carried afield.
He had 50 rounds of .30-06 with him.

    In the day-pack.

    Every day.

I said something like "Joe, the deer aren't going to be shooting back...."

Wow, and I thought I was carrying too much with 4 extra cartridges. I cut up the red plastic case holders like Federal puts in their shell boxes and make a poor boys case holder. Its quieter than a stripper clip and easier to use. If I'm walking I won't carry more than what fits in the magazine. I strive for the one shot one kill thing!

As far as the loading room goes, I may start prepping some 44 brass. My working stock of loaded 44's is about used up and its about time to stuff them all again. I think I have enough bullets cast up to cover this.

Yep. Thirty deer/ hogs/ coyotes/ antelope. Actually had that many virgin unprimed brass sitting there looking at me as well as a box of NBT with 39 bullets left in it so.....
Bookworm- years ago in Kansas I carried my 30" 12 ga H&R Topper with 5 shells in the butt cuff. Hunted all day and got two cocks with 3 shots. My twenty something guides had Bennelis with decals and carried 2 boxes each of 3"shells. One young man paid more for his choke than my gun cost. They asked if I had more ammo; I replied-" Did they raise the limit?"
I felt vindicated at day's end when only one hunter got 3 cocks but he used a lot of shells to do it.
    Sorry for the rambling!

Loaded 50 rounds .380 - 102gr. Lee RN 2.7gr. Bullseye, Wolf SPP, mixed cases, COAL .970. Gonna shoot these beasties from the KelTec P3AT and the DB380.

Last night I tore down my Pacific (Hornady) powder measure. Today I pulled apart the RCBS hand priming tool. First time I have done it in 14 years of using it. Scrubbed it all down and oiled it back up. Seems everything being stored for 2 years unused got it all gunky and seized up a little. I am glad to be back at it!
