Got the bench screwed together and screwed into the wall. Mounted the Lee Classic Cast to it and started setting all my manuals and primers in their spots. Can't wait to get back at it.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

The blue covered real well, green was next in line. The pink didn't cover that well. The target won't know the difference. LOL

I had to remelt all of those. The lube grooves didn't fill out all the way squared. Still trying to figure that mold out. Ran it hot and got rounded lube grooves, but any hotter and they were frosty

I'm curious about your bullet trap. I've been thinking about building one. I'm thinking about the conventional steel box with the sloped plate in back filled with sand. I'm looking for steel plate as we speak.

This is the best I've seen for the home range...I use the chipped rubber in a large trash can but it's heavy to move and a bit tedious to recover the Pb...this is what I want to build next.

I use a version of the chipped-rubber catcher. I use a 5-gal bucket, filled with the shredded rubber that can be purchased from Lowe's. I put in about 4" and tamp it down with a 2x4, then another 4", etc. It's fine with lower power handguns, including 357 Mag full power 160g loads.

I ran into problems with 44Mag. With 240g + at over 1100fps I knocked the bottom out. I cut a 3/4" plywood disc, put it in the bottom before tamping in the rubber, and stopped knocking out the bottom.
Unfortunately, it would sometimes knock the entire bucket off the bricks I had it propped on. I solved that by stacking 2 buckets - cut the bottom from one, slide the second about 2/3 way in, screw it together with drywall screws.
Put the plywood disc in, no more problems.

It takes about 1 & 1/2 of the bags of rubber to fill the enlarged trap. It's not too heavy to move around, but I wheel it out on a garden wagon. I screw the tops on the bucket (replacement lids are $1.50 at Lowe's), and tape cardboard on top of that, on which to stick my targets.

To be clear, I didn't empty 75 lbs out at one time. I usually empty it when it becomes heavy, and can easily pull out 20lbs at a time.
The lids last a good while, depending on what you are shooting. At $1.50 each, catching just a few pounds of lead pays for it, and the lead is clean coming out.
