Loaded up a 200 30/30 with my new to me 31141 Lyman's on top of Leverevolution powder. Hopefully they'll shoot as well as the 150 Barnes hollow points and Leverevolution in my '67 336.

Haven't gone to poke around at the Government surplus sales outlet in a while so I dropped by today. I got 14 large and small Akrobins for $10. Good timing ... I needed some more bins for brass and boolits!
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
I worked on my 380 pest/cat sneeze loads. Found the minimum amount of Titewad that will cycle my P238 with 95 gr Lee and grits as case filler: 1.6 gr. Shoots pretty close to the sights, is hearing safer for field use, and fully penetrates a 5/4 deck board. Next test will be trying the same with a 125 gr.
Boxed up a new lee mold to return for warranty, Mold face and under sprue plate did not have any vent lines , appeared to have not been finished , as I have bought 6 different molds since right before Christmas and this one didn't look the same. was a 120g 9mm TC

Wife is "making me" paint a room.
So I went to the local farm and home store to buy the paint color she wanted.
I came home with paint. I also got a Stihl chainsaw (with extra chain, of course), a bag of Winchester wads, a bag of CB wads, a jug of 700-x powder, a Lodge cast iron skillet for smelting lead, and various odds and ends the shop needed to "restock".
In all, I spent $372 dollars. Overall, the reloading room had a good day, despite not actually performing any work in it.
That'll teach her to send me for paint.
Oh... I also got a paint roller too.
Very curious to hear how those lee 55gr boolits perform. I want to do the same but at lower ~2400fps-ish.
How the heck did you get all that for 372?! I'd be happy to get the chainsaw alone for that.

The Stihl MS170 was $180, the chain was $21?
Powder was $18, wads were something like $22?
The paint was $35 for a gallon. The Lodge skillet was $12.
A bunch went into "stuff" that added up.
Heck... I got a great deal. I'll shoot a pic of the receipt just to "show off", if ya want! haha!!!!

The Raptor is in a Rhineland arms bbl on 95 Mauser , it's a rimless twin of the 460 S&W . I've elected to presue fast rifle powders over the traditional H110 in the mag , I've got a 16" closed breach I may as well use it .

Sized trimed expanded and primed 15 x308 win brass that a non reloading member left on the range,I was only playing with my 1022 so that was a good result.
Thinking it time to do a little cleaning , getting ready to do some renovating , and expanding the shop, right now my loading room is a divided room and I am moving my wife out of her half and im going to have a dedicated casting and repair side now , I have out grown my side long ago , but since I got back into casting I really need the room now , cause im putting up a vent-a-hood and a place for an oven for powder coating , and sizing station .

I put together 20 sample rounds of .270 Winchester (WW cases with 130 grain Hornady spitzers seated over IMR7828) to test fire in a friend's Tikka T3 rifle, and then I loaded 50 rounds of .300 Blackout (150 grain bulk WW soft points over IMR4227 in converted WW commercial cases) for myself. I just got a replacement pre-64 Winchester steel buttplate and mounting screws in the mail today and I fitted them onto a 1958 vintage 94 in .30-30 that I bought a few months back. It was the right price since it had a recoil pad very poorly fitted and the original plate and screws were missing. (Other than that it was all original and in very nice condition.) I trashed the junk recoil pad and re-installed the proper period used buttplate since the stock hadn't been altered when the recoil pad was installed. (The pad was trash since they tried to bend it to match the factory curve of the stock and broke the back of the pad.) I loaded a few 173 grain gc'd boolits over some IMR4198 to test fire in it, but I also have a few factory loaded .30-30's to try in it as well just for comparison. My friend and I are meeting up at the range tomorrow for a shooting day so I'll take along a few more rifles and we'll wring them all out and have some fun!
