not a damned thing I intended! Which was to laod a bunch of 222 Rem test loads. As I was getting read to go down and load, got a call - to go flying with a buddy. Flying won out BIG TIME! And had a great time!

Yesterday, not today, my best friend came over and cast 150 457122's and I cast about 60 of my 420gr fp 457 boolit for him. This one is an old Lee Group buy that I got in on years ago. He shoots them out of his son's Marlin - his son is in the far East and will be for another six months or so. Can't tell us exactly where he is or what he is doing.

I shoot them out of my Encore Katadin.

I moved all the reloading to an insulated and wired outbuilding, freeing up bed space in the house. Less convenient, but nice to have it all in one place, but there is more stuff than I realized.

Not in the reloading room, but for the reloading room. I finished a Lee style push through sizing die to sized for my Model 19. My 686 seems to like .359-.360, but the M19 seems to want .358, so I needed a new one. Finishing that felt good, I did however forget to slug my 7mmTCU Contender. J word bullets are too expensive and I and think I need a mould for it.

Started sorting the range brass that I've collected since summer. And started the seemingly endless cycle of loading and unloading the tumbler, toting brass to the storeroom, ect. All in all, not a bad job to have to do.

I opened a box that was under my bench and found a whole bunch of brass that I'd forgotten about. All but the 30/30 was prepped and in big zip lock bags. I suppose when I go to the range for the next twenty years I won't have to scrounge any brass.

I cast 15 200 grain hollow base bullets in .41 Long Colt to test out in my Colt 1877 Thunderer. My gunsmith called two days ago and said he cleaned it well and that it was just dirty and now works in single action and the half cock works too. It worked in double action only earlier. It shoots Ok. I only cast a few bullets to test it Saturday. I won an auction for a Lyman .41 LC mold on ebay yesterday. Its a solid base, and I suspect it will not shoot as well in my 1900 Thunderer as the HB bullet. But the cool factor of having HP bullets = priceless. I will shoot it a little bit and then it gets displayed. Neat piece.
