Spent the day casting 358 win and 8 x 57 hunting boolets, all sized and lubed too. I also cast a bunch of Lee 324-175''s for my brother''s Yugo M-24/47. Ran myself out of 8mm gas checks. Should be good till Spring. It was a crappy, wet day, perfect to stay in and cast. Next weekend scouting for deer season, and cutting firewood. Flyer

They are from Mihec's 454-200 mold. Cast from coww+ 2% Sn they come out at 198gr. I cast these from 8lb range scrap 2lb coww + 2% Sn. I haven't weighed them yet but they should be a tad heavier

switched the LnL over to 9mm dies and plate and sent a batch through with the new 38 S&W expander plug inserted. Bullets seated much easier hope no leading on my next trip. had to seat them a bit deeper for it to cycle through my semiauto though. titegroup 3.9gr .34 disk load.

Took a close look at my supplies. Ordered an 8# jug of Hodgdon HP-38, and an 8# of Hodgdon CFE-223. I'm good now in case of the Hildabeast.

Loaded my first batch of .40 S&W. Berrys 180gr plated HP over 6grs Unique. Function fired 3 rds into the water trough- I'll fish them out tomorrow and check for expansion- like I care. I got my Lee mold the other day; just waiting for casting weather! Best, Thomas.

Pulled down some old junk ammo for the components, sorted some brass, full length sized and deprimed about 200 rounds of .270 Winchester brass ...

Had trouble getting in. I had the dealer replace the door and now the lock is sticky I put a shot of RemOil in it and am letting it soak while I go get a CT scan........

Ran some 223 yesterday with my grandson as helper. Fun. Lots of questions. Need to inventory my powder and primers and make a large purchase for future needs.

very disappointing results. over half failed to fire, solid primer strikes and nothing on the 2nd pull either. Perhaps my lc9s doesn't like S&B primers, but it shot the rest of the ones I loaded with plated bullets fine. This was the first attempt loading 9mm on the progressive though, perhaps I messed something up.

I had the same issue with a highpoint carbine. Found the firing pin spring was too weak for s&b. As they all fierd fine in a different gun.

The lc9 is a small gun
