Going to be casting 45acp tomorrow and powder coating them
Picked up my old 38-55 at the gunsmith's today, not a loaded 38-55 round in the house. Found some nekkid boolits and that was a good enough start.
Sat down at the bench beside my loading bench and the lube/sizer attached to the bench had BAC lube and a .401 die in it. I sized 100 38-40 boolits before changing out the sizer die for the 38-55 project. Ran out of lube before I finished sizing 38-55 boolits but found my missing 303 British brass while I was fetching another tube of BAC.
Loaded up a few 38-55's over 30 grs 3031 and then loaded 50 38-40 rounds for the 92 that showed up a week or so ago. Need to load some BP 45-70's in the AM but it's looking like a pretty special range day tomorrow.

Some of my favorite recipes start out with a handful of depleted counterbalance devices.
Sorted out a big batch of ss pin tumbled .303 British brass by the headstamps. Lots and lots and lots of .303 British brass. Some will be fire-formed into .410 Musket for my SMLE smoothbore, some with be fire-formed into .338 / .303 British for my Ron Smith rebored large action Martini, and some will actually be reloaded as .303 British!
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
Just used my new LEE#90697 6-Cavity, 45LC, 216gr mold for 1023 keepers. [CWW's] Water quenched, these dropped @ .453"ish which is terrific for our 45LC CAS addiction.
...then my custom Mountain Mold for about 650, .461-405gr pills for some IMR4198, .45-70 load development. [CWW's + 2% Tin] These drop water quenched @ .461", as designed. This vendor is tops!
Been loading 6.5 CM for ELD, learning to load Mosin Nagant & .308/7.62x51

LEE #90349, 452-255RF, 6 Cavity [for 45 Colt & 45 ACP; Alox lubed]
LEE #90697, 453-200RF, ditto
re sized and decapped some 12 ga hulls
sized all my 45 #68 clones to .451 and then recoated em in a batch of hitek to cover the spots rubbed off. did the same for the noe 40 cal boolits, now working on mounting the strong mount and then going to load up a fresh batch. Also cleaned all the 38 special brass I'd shot over the last few trips. Would've been faster if I hadn't dropped the towel full of wet brass on the patio....twice as clean now!

Thanks Yall!
After working 18 hrs at the hospital, I waved hello to my gunroom and new bullet mold. I has been so hot up here in the Mitten that I cannot cast with my new mold and my asthma has been acting up, so shooting is on hold. Bummer for sure!

Brother I'm going to be Pythagerus , DiVinci , and Atlas all rolled into one soon .
Sized and decapped 60 308 ppu cases I found in the range bin and 20 of my own ppu cases .I'm always amazed people don't reload, only bought 100 cases all my brass is once fired range pickups .
Made a brick of Tula primers into 1,000 primed 9mm cases. Then I filled em partway with WSF and seated and crimped 120gr TCs on top. Then I loaded some test loads with Trail Boss in .44 Special cases and 200 gr SWCs. Somebody gave me a pound of these cheerios and insisted I would absolutely love it. This without actually explaining what factors or characteristics were to be the catalyst of this potential romantic infatuation. I mean it's fine. Bullseye and I are just friends now, I just don't like 296 that way and I am soooo over 231. Besides... it'll probably just be this once and it really won't mean anything.

Stripped a LAM 2 .First ever Lube sizer. Hot water and heat got most of the fossilised lube out.Its missing the plunger, so wrote off to RCBS, ordering a 0.285 sizer and a plunger. lets see how this lube sizing works...

loaded up another 100 rnds of 38 wadcutters. Looks like a still need to adjust the left pawl slightly, was hoping the new strong mount would fix that issue.
