I picked up a Llama Especial .22 1911, has a few issues. 1st was a very dirty chamber, could not "plunk" a round in, was tight. Cleaned the chamber well. It is easier to push a round in but still no "plunk". Now a CCI mini mag will fall in very easy, but cheap bulk needs a push.
2nd is the feed lips of the magazine. very worn, did the best I could and did get the pistol to fire and cycle 100% with the CCI ammo. Still have troubles from the cheap stuff. I feel if I can get the chamber reamed just a bit it would help a good bit. The mag is a different story, they are few and far between and a bit on the high side. All and all I am happy with the little 22 1911.

Finished the .357 Mag loads I was working on that I mentioned a few posts back. Set them up for a ladder test. 10 rounds Red Dot at 5.0/5.1/5.2/5.3/5.4 each . Hoping to test them & some others tomorrow if I can.

Not much today. Separated 9mm//.38/.40/.45 brass after a match and some practice sessions, separated my previously marked .40 cases from unknown .40 cases so I can run the unknowns through the Case Master Jr. getting ready to load my first run of PCed boolits.

Loaded up 2 dozen or so each of the 90 gr GoldDot and Hornady XTP rounds for my 380. Both just under the max charge advertised in respective manuals of n320. Would be nice to have another use for that powder.

Melted 30 lbs of Roofing Lead into ingots and another 30 lbs of Range scrap into ingots as well. Starting to cool off here. It already snowed last week and I wanted to get these done before winter so I can cast more slugs.

Ran a wire for wireless? Have you been inhaling the fumes?

I sized about 4lbs of cast .22 I'd cast for my Huben K1 pcp air rifle and annealed couple 100 22lr hulls.

Why didn't you buy a repeater?

It was only $20 worth of cable and my trench was already dug out for power. My garage is tin so it struggles to get a good signal at the best of times.

Nothing this evening. Watching Star Trek with my wife. But my last night in there yielded about 1,400 rounds of 38 special with different cast bullets: 148 WC from my 10 cavity H&G mold, 158 SWC from LaserCast, Lee 358 105's, and Lee 356-124's. All but the LaserCast were PC'd and sized to 358. Two milestones: I finished by last of two 4 pound jugs of Winchester AA lite that I was able to obtain when I could find nothing else. Secondly, I crossed the 100,000 mark in the cartridges loaded in my log book. Oh happy day.
