Let me know if you want some heavies to try! Its amazing how fast the ammo goes in these AR's. It is one of my favorite range guns since I started casting and loading for it!

Great! Thanks! I think we can come up with some sort of a trade.

I made about 100 of these yesterday for testing.

Loaded 30 38 Special wad cutters to try in a buddies old officer's target match, think that is the official name, it has not liked any RN/truncated cone cast bullet so far. My old Military and Police model eats up anything that I put in it. Same rounds chamber occasionally in the Officers model. Hope to find out tomorrow if they work.

Used a Lyman 35887 4 cavity I bought a couple of years ago for $20 with handles. I think I was the first to cast with this mold. Crazy people, buy a very nice mold and never use it. I also bought a never used 452460 4 cavity with handles for $20 from the same guy. Only draw back they were the old clam type handles.

    Those are beautiful.

I finally got an aluminum Pepsi can so I re-taught myself how to use my Free Chex II. It's a .45 cal check maker but I have used the checks on my Lee 310 .44 cal boolits with great success, unlike trying to wrap one around a .30 cal boolit....

I powder coated most of the boolits I made the other day... And primed some 40 S&W. I also found a really interesting way to get a primer stuck in the little primer seater...

Poured a couple of weeks worth of 9mm and 357 Sig. I will have to get out there again in the next few days to cull 'n coat them.

Little slow getting around today, but here is a good start.

Thank you for the link. Interesting process, I may look into this in the future.

My son liked the boolits that I made for him, and asked me what I wanted for them. Well, the six cavity mold in the same boolit but 125 grain would have been nice, but I just asked for the two cavity. I can still make them for both of us, and I like the t/c mold. I have enough of those cast that I can barely move the ammo box that I store them in. I probably won't be casting a lot from the new mold, but who knows?

Reloaded the same 200 rounds of 223 that I shot at the range the other day. This brass has now been loaded 6 times, never annealed by me, super easy to size, primer pockets are still good. I think W748 is the ticket with these heavy boolits for case life. We will see how far they go. This AR now has 1200 rounds of cast through it only cleaning the chamber and the BCG.
