God Bless, Whisler
Cast some more slugs, loaded up some short tail wad slugs to fit in my Taccom 3 Gun shell caddies for testing.

Picked up a new-to-me mould and took it for a quick test-drive last night after work.
Lyman 356402 truncated cone. As cast about 131.5gr and not very round... Going to investigate the condition of the mould.
Gun shop had some guys old casting stuff I bought out. 100 bucks for 393 # of cast boolits and thousands of J word ones. Loads of brass and empty case boxes. Its looking like mostly 357 and 44 stuff some 9mm.
So I am sorting today. Looks like loads of brand new starline 357 mag brass. Guess after the coffee is done brewing I will count that up. Finds like this do not happen every day. I venture it will be one for the record books for me. Funny thing is all the young guys in the store looking to order AR stuff laughed at me and chuckled as I used the hand truck to move the crates to my trunk. They have no clue. I might see if I can get the old camera working and snap a shot. I feel many will end up in the pot but that is ok.
Ok I counted 382 new 357mag. Nice

5:55AM (BOSS) "NO NEED TO COME IN TODAY, TOO MUCH SNOW". Woo Hoo, cast and powder-coat day.
The previous owner did spray some sort of dry film lube on the faces/cavities but there's only a slight gap where I can see light between the halves. The female alignment pin holes might be puckered some too, so I’ll give it a good scrub with a brass wire brush and some solvent and see if I can burnish/deburr the pin hole puckers…
I sorted(in the house during an ice storm) ALL my 30-30 brass. Winchester for the Winchester 94; Remington for the 1916 Spanish. Twenty each of Federal and Hornady for distant backup or experimental use.
After my 'Snow' day yesterday I get to go back to work. So I will just be passing by, but Saturday commeth. Woooo Hoooo!
Recieved these 8x57mm dies from a member here. When I get over this bug; Katy, bar the door- It's reloading time!

Over the last two days, my oldest son and I cast about 20# of different .45-70 boolets (TL and PC coated most of them,) then loaded up about 150 and went to the range to break in his Marlin Guide Gun. I brought along my TD carbine, Highwall, and BFR just for giggles. What a great way to spend time with your 40 year old kid! Ed

Ran some pc'd .45 ACP bullets through the Lee push through sizer die and ran a few of them through the Dillon to check seating depth. Now I need to size and load a bunch more ...
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
I did a thorough sweeping of the floor. As usual, I used a magnet over the sweepings. Now I need to find where the spring and 2 set screws came from.
At least I saved them from the trash.
Information not shared. is wasted.
Prepared some 357 mag brass .loaded 40 4570 405 boolits with 18 gr of 2400 up to 23gr so I can now shoot my new marlin sbl tommorow .like a kid I can't wait!
