Melted down and recast those Lyman 452374 Boolits I cast the other day. As soon as I was done casting I did a quick sort then tumble lube, then sized thru my Lee push thru die and then relubed them with a little more 45-45-10 and now they are set up to dry.

Good luck, that should keep you busy for a while.

Well, I'm going to have a lot of time in the reloading room. I'm a teacher, and due to this Coronavirus garbage, I just found out I have a week off. This is nuts.

Anyhow, I weight sorted my .223 cast for the upcoming Highpower season, and lubesized and packed them away. Currently doing the same with my .30 caliber match boolits.

I think I'm going to start refinishing a set of Ahrends grips after I'm done with the boolits. Probably end up reloading shotgun shells by the end of the week.

I love doing all this, but I truly wish the circumstances were different.

If that's all it's going to be feel lucky. looks like school here in Wisconsin is going to be down for 3-4 weeks.

Stared casting my pistol ammo for the year, will cast about 160 lbs of 9mm and 160 lbs of 45acp, this lasts about a year, very tedious and laborious but worth it

Last week I cast some bullets. Saturday I:
    • Sorted them and recycled the culls.
    • Cleaned out the Lee drip-O-matic
    • Decapped, cleaned, neck-sized, belled, primed some brass.
    • Cleaned out the barrel on a rifle, scoped it, slugged it so I knew what to size projectiles to: .359".
    • Didn't have a .359" sizer, so I made one. It took a while to hone it to the proper size but I have one now.
    • Sized and lubed a sample of my sorted bullets.
    • Researched a starting load.
    • Metered some powder.
    • Woke up Sunday to seat the dry bullets in the cases I loaded Saturday night.
    • Went to the range for a silhouette match and shot a group with my test load while I was there.

then went to the Winchester for a cold pint to wait for this whole thing to blow over.

Reloading 9mm (yeah, I know) with jacketed XTPs. I think these range pickup cases were all shot from a Glock. They had a bulge in the lower half, and while they fit into the barrel chamber, they did not fit into my gauge even after resizing. I found I could get them down to size with the Lee FCD, without the crimp - just using the carbide ring, before doing anything else to them. I have quit using the FCDs on pistol, but its nice to know that there is a use for them.

Nothing yet but I have some more range brass and a few weights to sort after while. Mostly winter time busy work. Probably will be a lot of that in the next few weeks. The Wife and I decided to go to ground for a few weeks until we see what the virus does.

Fished wire through the wall so I can install an outlet. It would be nice to listen to the radio while I'm working.

Loaded and tested some 32-20's for my two Savage Model 23C's. Tried several powders and cast bullet weights to see which were the most accurate. Nice day here to shoot.

What did you do in the reloading room today?

Restored a vintage Stanley no. 9-1/2 block plane. Got it off fleebay for $5 so we’ll worth the time.

In process learned that WD40 Rust Remover works very well.
