Boss asked me to build him an AR and all the parts came in yesterday. Put that together while waiting for my nieces who are traveling to Kansas to arrive.

Resized about 1000 40 cal boolits. Gonna need to start loading some 40s again.
Also reloaded 6 slugs with my new idea on how to shrink the column height a little. These are within spec of a 2 3/4" shell. Gonna have to go shoot 'em!

Storing and labeling 650 rounds of 38 Special +p in ammo cans. Will be sizing 750 cast .41 220 grain RFN and finish loading 1,000 .41 Magnums. After that several hundred .45 Colt. Too many cans and bags of empty cases underfoot that should have been loaded and stored neatly long ago. I know "neatly" and "loading room" are sometimes mutually exclusive.

short day. Kind of stalled till i get some 300 ham'r dies. Yesterday i loaded a 100 300 wbys for next year and tumbled 475 pieces of 300 ham'r brass. dies bullets and the rest of the parts for the gun should be here next week. Im behind on my casting because i loaded every stinking piece of brass in the house this fall and it depleted my stash. Especialy my 9, 40s and 45s. But im kind of waiting till the snow comes so i have something to do this winter.

Just pulled the remainder of 450 loads that where soso in reliability. This rifle seems to not reliably cycle any light load very well. But velocity is excellent.

Swapped out the problem scope on my 32/20 for a Fixed 10x. Its mostly a range gun anyhow..

Found 200 primed 308 cases that were all ready to go. Reloaded 50 of them and got busy doing something else... Need to get back and do the next 150.

Hey Charles you get one,?! Congrats man

I worked a few 9mm myself..then ran out of boolits and started on 38 spc. Got a pound of bullseye finally and made a few 38spc wadcutters with it....man I like em. Soft recoil - very nice shooting round

Spent time with the 13yo daughter..... We swaged some primer pockets on some mil 5.56 brass....did some trimming, chamfering, deburring... Cleaned some primer pockets, and THEN....we shot the BB gun in the makeshift 'range' in my workshop/garage. Working on trigger control and 'flinch'....she's a great student, good listener, and REALLY wants to be a great shooter. And...she's well on her way. At 7yds, she hits the bull as often as I do, and is quick to let me know it too!! It was another great day....

Laddered a 140 MP HP in my 32/20 single shot. 7-10g.

@8.5g the bullet turned to dust in the newspspers... Should have been about 1600 fps... Guess lil harder alloy is needed.

Turned on the case cleaner to finish polishing a little batch of 32-40 brass. I like shiny brass!
