I'm taking my time loading 50 38-55s. I decapped and reprimed them unsized, dropping 22.8 grains of IMR 4198 (.45ACP case dipper) in, and seating Lee 379255F( sized .377"-250 grs)on top with a medium crimp. I may finish today. A friend made the push thru sizer for me and this is the test.

Its another rainy day here and looks like a good day to stay inside. I'll probably put another batch of brass in the tumbler and head out to the shop to sort that bucket of weights that I scored yesterday.

Deprimed and ran 8 of the .416 Ruger through the sizer then primed them.
I then put the primed brass in the tumbler

I bedded the Tang & Recoil lug on my Mossberg MVP.

I swapped two scopes and added a scope to a third rifle.

I did some really hard work today . I have a 1916 DWM Gew 98 I bought 2 barrels for , a 7×57 and a 257 Roberts thinking I might do the Roberts just because my Dad lusted after one for so long and it would have been nice to have given him that even if only for a short time ...... Days from it being ready he passed away ......
Today I made dummies for the 7×57 barrel from some FN 49 that he bought me about 5 years ago , major hang fires with the first 3 rounds in another rifle so I had figured to just pull the FMJ and load it back ......
The best laid plans . The brass is Berdan primed ......

Some total for the day I sat and mourned as I fussed with the 7×57 dies we worked up my first reloads while my dog with end stage lymphoma tried to cheer me up and I made 2 dummies 1 for 120 HP Hornady and one for the 7mm-168 RCBS which hits full lands on half the nose and just touches the front drive band .
Took a picture of it .

Reloaded 400 out of 500 LC 13 prepped brass for my .308. Getting these little projects out of my way. Set up the Dillon RL 550B, prime them, charge them, seat the bullet, done!

Been powder coating 358 swc boolits cast last summer, about a 1000 a day still have about 3000 more to go. Have several test loads to shoot when we get some dry weather.

Sorry to read about your dad Harter66!!

This am with much anticipation, I popped the action out of the stock and it came right out! Both the Tang and the recoil lug are 100% supported with solid JB weld. Hornady one ahot was again proven good for something!
