Loaded 300 9mm this morning. Over the last two weeks or so, that makes 1800. Im trying to load every piece of 9mm brass i have to see just how much i have. I think i have around 1500-2000 left to do.

Test rounds for the new Rifle (M1A) 30 rounds 168gr Match with H4895, 30 rounds w/Varget, and 17 rounds of a tested load for plinking after the test rounds.
Now if the weekend would just get here!!!
"Yes or no will almost always suffice as the answer"
sigh...only thing more annoying than finding 380 cases in my 9mm batch is SPP 45. Loaded up a few dozen hg 68 clones to test in my 45 just need to take a trip to the range now.

Sorting out and pricing a few surplus items to take to our big 2 day gun show this weekend ... I always take a table whether I need to or not. (And I usually buy more stuff than I sell!)
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
When I'm in the middle of a project and I'm forced to run down to the local farm supply store, I try to grab something for the reloading bench.
Nothing extravagant, just a little "treat" for myself for a job well done on keeping up the homestead.
Well.... 2016 has been a rough year for home improvements and repairs.

De primed 300 6.5x55 Norma cases. Deer seasons comin' ya know.
Life is so much better with dogs!
primed 100 new 45 colt brass
I introduced a new 9mm owner to the life of reloading. Then I setup and ran 100 45 hex hollowpoints, just so I can remember how. Gas checked and sized a bunch of 223 pills getting ready for reloading. I believe that I have everything I need now to try powder coating the 223 stuff, I'll run a batch next weekend.
Oiled everything. Found some of my NOE bushings rusted on Friday. They were the last ones I bought and I guess I never oiled them before I put them away. Found the Star slide bars rusted. Kind of odd because they were oiled. The old ones were fine. The ones I purchased from Magma back in the spring were rusted. I need to move everything inside but that defeats the purpose of having a reloading bench in the garage.
Reloaded 50, 45's with H&G 68 clone cast boolits, no I have to go shoot a bunch, because I've used all of my empty 45 brass
loaded up 5 different loads with hg 68 in 45.
wst @ 4.3 and 4.7gr
unique 4.7gr
bullseye 4.2gr
titegroup 4.9gr
trying to find an autodisk hole that performs well in my 1911, if not I'll buy the LnL plate for 45 and use the hornady powder measure.
finally cleaned and degreased the LnL powder drop and made a few dozen 380 rounds for testing. Appears to be dropping consistently between 3.2 - 3.3 gr of bullseye.
sorted my dirty range brass, cleaned up a gallon bag each of 9mm and 38 special for reuse.

Turned this Attachment 179784 into these Attachment 179785
Loaded 200 38 Special shot shells with the Speer shot capsules with 109 gr. of #10 shot.
Then loaded 50 444 Marlin brass as 410 brass shot shells, 13 gr 2400 as powder load and 1/2 oz of #8 shot for the S&W Governor for snakes in early deer season here in Texas.
I haven't done anything related to casting for the past month. When my wife retires next year we are down-sizing. So, I am slowly getting our current house ready for sale. This past month I hung drywall on our garage's ceiling and walls, taped, applied joint compound and sanded it. On Friday I applied the finish coat of paint and Saturday I cleaned up the floor. Looks at least 100% better. And my back, shoulders and arms are now well toned! Casting bullets is a LOT less strenuous.
It's a shame all the things you do to improve a home that you're moving out of.
Things that bother you for years, never get done until you're ready to evacuate.
Weighed and bagged up the boolits I cast yesterday.
Been cleaning brass. Have it all done now. Hunting season Saturday. Almost forgot. Picked up 149 lb's of wheel weights at the Good Year dealer . The guy there sorts them for me. All lead weights.
Loaded 150 rounds of .357 Mag. Three different powders, 2-3 different charges of each powder.
More testing to come.
Sized ~500 .38Spl cases. Started the excruciating process of length-trimming, something I do to all "new to me" range brass. Ugh....
Ran my ss pin tumbler full of Federal .270 Winchester brass ... will do another batch tomorrow while these ones are drying in the dehydrator ...
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
