Dang it!!! You're about 2 months ahead of me.
We shot 750 218 Bee last year and I probably need to get going on that.

I loaded up 50 6.5x55 Swede using 140 grain HPBT Match Kings over 37 grains of IMR-7383 ( RAD-78 ) powder. This gives a very accurate 2,400 FPS load out of the bolt rifles / carbines and the AG42B semi-auto rifle. ( port pressure is not an issue ) I bought 150 pounds of the surplus powder when in bulk you could get it for $1.50 a pound.
I have loaded it in many cartridge calibers over the years and never had an issue with excessive pressures or poor accuracy.
When a load is worked up where all the powder grains have burned, the powder is very clean burning. It is a triple base powder.
Many post here on the powder.

Got out to shoot some test rounds that have been waiting for temperatures in rise to 20’ or higher so the chrono would work. Testing with faster powder on my 132gr cast boolits. The results are encouraging especially at the top end of the loads

I loaded 6.5x55 as well, but with the Lee 140 gr cast bullet. Also loaded some 170 gr cast into 30-30.

    Shined up my new Mauser…

We've, (my grandson and I) have been pretty busy in the reloading room lately. I'm teaching him how to reload, and also have been teaching him how to shoot 22 rimfire, he's 6 years old.
We've been reloading 300 Savage, 45-70 for the trapdoor, 45acp, and 44 mag.
I've been sorting brass, figured out I might have to much 38 special brass haha

After lunch I'm planning on casting some 405 HB boolits for the 1884 Springfield 45-70 carbine, so we'll have something to reload this weekend when my reloading buddy comes to visit.

Cast 600 Lyman 356632 bullets using my new-to-me four cavity mold. Surprisingly accurate in my little Colt .380 MK IV Government.

Dug out the NIB Mag25 pot that was a deal pre-2019.
This will be the winter I try casting! Got a NOE 358 mold and hope to get everything set up by the end of next week! Gotta get loading for some sass shooting this summer.

On Saturday I cast about 450- Lachmiller 358432 button nose wc, today they were powder coated. They weigh about 157 grains each. Next they need to go thru the Lee push-thru sizer. I'll be set with Wad cutters for a while! hc18flyer
PS- Went to a local gun show today too. Came across an old box of Hornady hbwc for $5, couldn't pass it up!

I dropped powder and seated bullets in 180 38 Specials using the Lee TL358-148gr WC and Red Dot. I lowered the powder charge down one Rotor size in the Little Dandy powder dropper compared to the recent load I've been testing. This new load will give an economical 2,187 shots per pound of powder. Being that lead is recoverable from my berm, and I still have a factory sealed Hercules Red Dot 8lb container that was bought for something like $85, shooting will only cost a primer for a good long time now. I'm still using the last 2 pounds of my other Hercules Red Dot. It lasts a long time this way. Good times!

Sized and G/C'd 250 NOE 311-151-SP's. Loaded 50, 300 H&H's. Set up the casting pot and cast a couple hundred NOE 314-203-SP for the Enfield and the P14. Dug out the 38 special brass/boolits, that's next in line behind the 303 British.

Dug out a 40 pound slab of telephone lead. Need to make it into usable muffin sized ingots. Probably Friday.

Need to dig out an ice boat, I was invited this morning to exhibit a boat or two at an outdoor show in Novi this weekend. Buddy's been asking me since before Thanksgiving. Told him I would if there was no sailable ice. He reminded me of that today.

Tapped the first maple tree, not much sap flowing yet.

Had the youngest nephew stop by for a while. He had his 5 year old in tow.

    Good day.

I've been tumbling brass on and off since our Christmas Deer Season ended. Today I sorted a partial bucket of weights that a buddy brought to me. I don't weigh them but I kind of look in the buckets that the lead, iron, zinc and trash go in and estimate my lead yield. Todays bucket had less lead than I've ever had, about 50%, maybe a little less. Its been slowly declining but usually runs 55-60%.

Threw together a few test 9mm loads with some boolits that have been hanging around for years. 115gr PC from an unknown source. I didn't adjust anything on my press from my last session and it came out perfect. 2.8gr of Titewad and all cycled fine in my Foxtrot AR 9mm. I'll load up the rest of the 100 as plinkers as set.

I’m in the middle of taking off the parts of a semi- inletted stock that doesn’t look like a classic lightweight sporter stock.
And getting it ready for glass bedding.
    It’s a very nice walnut stock from a buddy; it’s going on a 1916 Oviedo/Remington 7x57 barreled action.

I know. Price of 43,9€/100pcs of Starline brass + shipping is a bit high for me. I can buy S&B cartridges for ca. 0.65€/pcs.
Also Starline Tokarev brass is on backorder at Brownells.Fi. So 4-12weeks of waiting or DIY.

I like to tinker, already modified one Lee 2-cavity mold to make lighter bullets for this cartridge.
