Stared longingly once again at a really nice Burnside Carbine recently bestowed upon me by a very dear friend...... And thought, someday, when my 'list' is done around the house, I'll shoot you my friend... (for clarification, 'my friend' being the carbine, not my dear friend from whom I got it.)

I actually started cleaning up my bench. Not sure why I let it go for so long because a messy bench can invite serious problems. But I will have to keep at it for a few more hours to get it ship shape.

Rounded out my WSL loading with another 50 - 35 WSL and 100 - 351 WSL. Now to get the '05's, '07, and '10's cleaned up for duty!
I will admit that I don't have proper 35 WSL dies, so make do with a Lee Loader in 357 Magnum that is purpose dialed for the purpose. It saves me from changing settings on my RCBS 38 Special dies.

I'm assuming you're referencing the prior post, that is the Lyman #44 loading manual. It contains a number of loads for obsolete (almost) calibers.

It's a great reference to own.

    I ran small batches of 124 9mm, 200 .45 and .44 ball. Hi-Tech coated the .44 ball.

The red text explains it. He swaged 9mm brass and lead cores into cool brass jacketed bullets of .358" diameter. Very cool work, indeed.

All the primers worked happy days. Saw no difference in them but have yet to inspect the targets and brass. No chrono till after Christmas.

I gutted my last 5 Rio 12 gauge #12 shot shells and used the shot to load .41 mag shotloads. I still had primed/ charged/ wadded brass when the #12 ran out- so I gutted a few Monarch .410 #9s to finish up. On those, I wrote the number 9 on the brass with permanent sharpie.
Now I just need to be in a pit with a bunch of snakes, yeehaw!

    Made some ugly blue bullets.

Ladle cast from a 2/3 full steel saucepan of improvised lyman 2 over the turkey fryer, old mold still works!

I sized them 311 using my lee hand press.
