Working at sorting prepping 2,000 once fired 9mm cases. Have a pile of 1-2 K 5.56 cases that are next. Apperantly theres a shortage of 9mm and .223. Guess who everyone is calling.

Loading some 32 H&R mags. I'm going to use my Lee hand press just cause. I'm only doing 50 anyway. I'll use the ram prime too. I'm going to see if I can find a Lee dipper to use too. Just have to pick a load here in a few minutes. I've sized and deprimed and they are in the tumbler right now.

I'll be using powder coated Lee TL314-90-SWC and HP-231 looks like 3.0gr but I'll see if I can find a dipper that will be close to that.

I'm in the process of sorting through my stash of 223 brass trying to find 1000 that are crimped, dinged, dented or just plain ugly. Planning on shooting them in an AR in a place where recovering the brass will be difficult. Just took the first 500 out of the tumbler to dry.

I cast some of those MP 44 cal devastators - man it is hard to get proper nose fill out with the penta points... They look super cool when you get one, but I've got a 2 cavity mold and I get a perfect one about every 3rd cast. I tried a lot of things - hotter lead, more tin, got the mold hotter, pressure cast, etc... It's just a tricky mold.

After a while, I thought - I've got 30 lbs of 44 cal boolits... I kinda need 40 cal boolits... So I switched and cast about 15# of my 180 grain 40s.

    Good evening,

Loaded up 100, 300 Blackout for a bolt Rem 700. I use the NOE 30XCB 2500 lube and aluminum gas check. They are right at 1850FPS with H110. Perfect for 100 meter dingers!! Plan on hunting in a couple months with it.

    Also loaded up 90 284’s with J-words for a F-class match coming....

Then swept the floor and straightened up the bench a bit. Promised myself I would spend 15 minutes every time I reload cleaning up. Everything has a tendency to over run the benches....

So far it’s been an excellent weekend

Broke out the Lyman 266469 yesterday and cast up a couple hundred. Hope to continue with this later today, body and attitude permitting.

These will eventually be put thru a re-barreled(6.5x55) Savage 110 which is the latest project.

Sized a small tub of 9mm.
Waiting on an M die to arrive. I pulled down a few loaded rounds and the brass is sizing down the base of the boolits.
Needing to coat more boolits with Hi Tech but it's too hot and humid to try to play with an oven in the garage

I preheat on a hotplate with a 6x6x1/4" thick steel plate on it and an 18 ga box cover. The bottom of the pins sit on the plate. I run a Pro Melt 2, 96/3/1 Alloy at 700 for this mold. I cast more of the deep hollowpoint but the penta haven't been a problem.

New 223 dies arrived this week and finally got a chance to use at least the decapping/sizing die. Decapped and sized my first 100 GFL brass tonight and have another 100 PMC to do tomorrow and also hopefully by friend comes thru tomorrow with some primers we are swapping. Getting anxious to shoot these in the new Savage bolt gun.

Started powder coating the backlog of boolits floating around the garage... Looks like I have a week or so of PCing ahead of me.

Spent a few hours Saturday depriming, sizing, case cleaning (wet method/oven dry) and repriming 300 cases for 380 ACP....that all just takes time on a single stage press. Hopefully, this week I can get time to charge/cap them.
