Another 240 5.56 nato cases trimmed, deburred, chamfered, primer crimp removed, and HS checked. It's raining and arthritis stopped me from doing more.
    Information not shared. is wasted.

It's amazing what one can find when they clean up the bench, and after it's done, generally can't find anything again.

I cleaned up too, then cleaned up the whole shop! Didn't have time left for reloading tonight. Maybe tomorrow after the gun show...

Took apart the bolt on the Mosin, did some polishing. I'm tired of fighting that pig at the bolt-gun match.
Took some 400 grit wet/dry to the cramming surfaces and got the ridges off, then followed that with 600 grit. Some attention to the locking lug surfaces, along with a bit here and there, and I can actually operate the bolt without smacking it.

A touch of synthetic grease, and done for now.

I hand primed 200 pies of 223 brass with junk Lee hand primer. Going back to press. Forgot how bad arthritis in hands are. Finished last 100 on the press. Thinking about the Lee bench prime

Loaded up 50 rounds 25 Krag with 13gr Unique and a 120gr cast boolit - have to expand the shells to the chamber. Ordered a scope base - Leupold quick release to move my scope from the 45-70 barrel. It'll be here Thursday.

Loaded 25 slugs for testing. Decapped 500 9mm cases. Loaded 300 9mm. Cast 1,500 9mm and 1,250 225-61 Elvis, then Hi-Tek coated and sized them all. Harvested around 30#s of range scrap. It's been a good couple of days.

Hey Wayne, I put a the Leupold quick release mounts on my Marlin 1895 and there is enough recoil that it kept knocking them loose. I gave up and got some weaver rings... And then I just ended up putting a Skinner peep on it and I love it.

I cast some 240 grain GC boolits for 44 mag and some 7mm 85 grain boolits for my tokarev (7.62x25).

The 7mm boolits look tiny compared to the 240s:

    Pretty good haul:

No shoulder pain this morning. Loaded 50 .43 Spanish, first loading in two weeks. Confirmed the shoulder pain was caused by reloading.

Anybody figure out how to put a pneumatic cylinder on a Rockchucker?

I've not had a problem with the 45-70 barrel. But then I'm only shooting 33gr (Gould) and 420gr boolits out of it. I wonder if yours was close to the outside tolerance range?

Still working on 223's. Probably resize a few hundred more and process them. Maybe start loading the ones that I processed last week while this batch is tumbling and drying.
