Received some new Lyman Small handles from member Shuz and want to publicly thank him. They completely solves my problem with the oversize bullets I was getting while trying to use the wrong handles. Again a learning experience!

So I got these on the Lyman single cavity 452374 225gr RN and was able to quickly cast 100+ and the diameter size is now down to where it is supposed to be! Now to tumble lube/size/lube and then wait for the range to open back up.

Like a few of you, I'm in between projects and doing some cleaning and organizing. I'm thinking about some ammo shelves. I saw some pictures on Snipers Hide recently of some shelves made from concrete blocks and boards for holding ammo cans. Hum, got me to thinking!

    She cleaned up good! Looks like a 24” barrel so it’s a .222, .223, or 22-250?

I've got a Howa varmint rifle on the way, so I'm prepping 223 brass.

I acquired several hundred actual once-fired cases. The ritual is in progress; decap, tumble, full length size. Trim (ugh!), flash hole uniform, weight sort, etc.

I'm in the middle of trimming.... Very tedious.

My avatar is almost a dead ringer for my little buddy Chico. Six pounds of mean that thought he was a Pit Bull. Miss that little guy.

Finally feel good enough to make it to the garage. Loaded 150 40s and resized about 800 40 cal boolits...

I feel like I need to cast more 400 grain 45s... But that sure makes lead/powder go fast...

Started prepping 223 brass for a Prairie Dog hunt in May. I'll stretch it out by working a little everyday.

Wet tumbled another 200 .357 cases today, they are sitting in the dehydrator drying right now. Will be pulling down 50 38-40 rounds that I got in a box of reloading stuff at a yard sale (I don't own a gun chambered for 38-40. Bullets are soft lead so I will add them to my soft lead stash.
