Was headed to the range Sat but it rained me out. So I set up for a Sun morning smelting session.

It really don't look like 120lbs but I blended double batches of my most used alloys.

Then while rooting around for the lead, I ran across some 3/8" aluminum flatbed so I cut a couple of pieces to use while setting my casting height.

I may have used snow to cool my hi-tek coating before acetone testing.

I also may have used snow to ice down my water between quenching those said coated bullets.

    Gotta love new England.

Sized and decapped 100 1x Privi Partizan 45-70 from one lot run through my buddies JM Marlin 1895G in stainless so I can feed my new to me blued 1895G Remlin . They share brass and Jorge won't shoot reloads . A match made in heaven .

Nor'easter blowin' in, went out to the casting shed, lit the propane heater and made up several hundred 311041's for my hungry 30's. Now, if it would just stop with the snowin' and blowin' so I can get to the range next week!!!

I'm thinking the snow would have been better for icing down the beer...

Sounds like you need to be a bit quicker in your zipper operation...

Wife had issue, called in sick family to work. She stabilized, so I cast up, powder coated, sized and loaded 100 9mm 124gr boolits. Same time I was tumbling brass, depriming, resizing and repriming,. Busy 6 hours, also given cool down periods. Keeps me busy and happy.

Loaded up 250 .300AAC rounds using 150 gr cast plain base boolits; powder coated with IMR 4227 powder. Started at 14.5 gr and worked up to 18.1. Just got to wait til the weather breaks so I can go out and try them.

Made a case trimmer gage for .318 Westley Richards. Was going to post a photo, apparently my ability to do so is "BUSTED".
