Pulled a Redfield Illuminator 3x9 wide field American made scope from a rifle to sell. The 270 it sat on um found a new old owner and I paid the electric, phone bill up. The rest I gave the wife for supplies. It’s always sad to see one go, at least it returned home.

I have vowed my next post in this section will be positive. Not for you guys either but for me.

I went to gun store and a M1 carbine fallowed me home, and a CZ 75 9mm. I put the rifle in safe and My daughter took the 9 home. I think she left me the better one of the 2. I have wanted the carbine for some time and found thins one that didnt look to be shot much or abused. Cant wait to fire it. Just have to wait for ammo. Life is to short to wait some times.

My 14 year old son and I cast a 20 lb pot of 357 boolits, then we powder coated them in 3 different colors and sized them on the new lee app press. We had a great time. The app press is incredible!

Cleaning and organizing day today. Boring but I've got more room to work and things are where they belong.

.45 Colt reloading soon. Gun is on the way and components are here. I will be working up loads with Unique and W231 which is what I have on hand.

I finished loading the last of my cast and coated 9mm boolits, all 6,913 of them.

Now I have to cast and coat another lot of 10,000. That's definitely higher priority than cleaning up my bench, right? ;^]

Tried out some if the 38 spl rounds made over the weekend. 358148 WC and Bullseye. Think I got these right by my range trial. Now to make up the rest about 250 rounds. Then back to9mm since my order came from xtreme today. 500 projectiles.

Cast a Hundred and low change each, of these two -

A broad Rounded Nose one for .44 Russian / .44 Special, and, a nice Button Nose Wadcutter for .455 Webley or .454 -ish .45 Colt or .450 Adams or anyone else in that ballpark.

Finally got to shoot my 30-30 after 3 months of ownership! It was an Accurate 31-157R sized .312, lubed with Carnuba Blue, over 7 grains of Red Dot. Was very accurate at 30-40 yards, about an inch Standing unsupported. However, it shot 9 inches low. Moved the rear sight elevator to its top position and still 5 inches low. Skinner sight will be on order.

Made glooits for the Dan Wesson, my son had never seen or heard of them. Sent 50 down range and had fun watching them fly to the target.

    Good day!

Melted 250 pounds of "used" bullets and turned them into castable ingots. Seems like I have to do that about once a year.
