I sized and lubed 150 452374 boolits with my Lyman 4500 and loaded 100 rounds of 9mm.

Used my new Lyman 280473 and recent Lee 277-135 to cast up a hundred of each. Trying to find a top punch for the Lyman, got an email out to Buckshot, but no response yet. They discontinued the top punch when they discontinued the mold. Id like to do some load development with Red Dot for the 473.

About to start priming that 1000 round batch of 223's that I have been prepping. I also plan to load them today or tonight.

Earlier this week I cast up some 124 grain 9mm. Last weekend I sorted, cleaned, and deprimed all of my 9mm and .223 brass. I have a three day weekend this week so I will be spending a lot of time in the garage casting, and loading ammo.
I also have around 700 9mm bullets that need pulled apart. I'm really not looking forward to that.

Walked in.....walked back out. No time for reloading right now. Grass growing too fast, weather good for honey-dos (durn it)

I puttered. Sorted 30-06 A.I. and 30/30 brass by headstamp, flared some 30/30 that's ready to load, and loaded up a few 30-06 A.I. with some 180 gr. GameKings. Going to the range tomorrow....

I'm another that thought of JB Weld first off. It bonds well to all sorts of plastics, can take a tap to cut threads. JB Weld is a prime tool for fixing those black plastic ABS holding tanks on RV's and campers. Which reminds me of the thin glue that is black and made for the black plastic pipe. It hardens into plastic with good bond and is used to patch larger tank holes with plastic screen as a backer. This might also coat and bond to existing worn threads partly filling the hole and allow for running a tap through to cut new threads.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

Loaded a batch of 400/350 N.E. Hope they chamber, using a different boolit and don't have the rifle to test chamber.

NOE 316-213-RN, Al's version of the 312299/314299, but with a larger diameter for the giant bore on my 91/30.
CWW + 1% Sn. These drop at .3165-.317.

Cast a full pot, then decided to run another. Ended up with 27 pounds of these, about 850-900 boolits. This should hold me into next year. I shoot about 100 per month, for practice and at the monthly Military Bolt-gun Match at the club.

This NOE mold is such a pleasure to use. It's a 5-cavity, and makes piles in a hurry. I just run at a leisurely pace, the mould stays at a good temp, and I'm not rushed.

Loaded these for the first time. Also the first time I've used Hornady Custom Grade Dies and I really like them.

Reloading equipment is in the garage. Only 115 degrees in the garage today.
Didn't spend a lot of time there.

    Funny looking boolits.

I too have a couple of Hornady dies, sleeve in the seater die work great with jacket
bullets, did have a little problem with 311284 in 06. Nose was just a hair too fat, kept seating too deep. Switched to an RCBS seater and the problem went away.

Yeah, they have these new fangled things they're calling jackets. Think they're made of copper or something. I figure it's just a fad. At least the tip is still lead.

The sleeve worked perfectly for these. Those bullets were a TIGHT fit in those reformed cases, and they are just flat based with almost no chamfer to them. I had no problems seating them straight though.

Resized and cleaned the brass that I fired at the range yesterday. Then I loaded enough 30-06 A.I. loads to finish out the 50 round box. I don't know why, as I don't hunt anymore, just punch paper and long range steel.....
