That is the main driver in most of my recent loading mentioned here lately. My loading bench was so covered in boxes of various brass and bullets that I HAD to do something to clean it off so it's useable. I decided to load up every piece of handgun brass I own as a way to get it out of the way. I'm on a roll now and the bench top is visible about half way back!

My recently cleaned reloading bench is not clear either!

However... I did size 47 coated Cast hollow Point .452" bullets . The mold is a bit tedious to use but it does make a decent .45 acp bullet of 208 grains of soft alloy . It is a mold I modified from a Lee double cavity 230 T.C. mold . The bullets shoot great from my 1911 but tumble from a Highpoint .45 carbine that shoots other cast bullets very well ?

Called around looking for large rifle primers and a few different powders. I found one store with CCI large rifle for $25.99 per 100. That is just nuts. I also found one store that has Unique and bullseye for $58.99 per pound. I am getting pushed out of this sport/hobby very fast.

Not a fun day in the gun room. I need a place to buy some bulk powder I can understand.

Nice modification. Great boolit performance for the 1911. I'd try tapping a copper plated bb into the nose on a few just to see how it behaves in the hi point.

Tumbled about 700 9mm to polish the primer pockets. They look so good think I’ll do the rest of the 5000 while I’m at it. I can’t seem to be able to get the loads to shoot straight. Working with AA 2,5,7 and now focusing on #7. Tried 3 different bullets and many different loads. Maybe clean pockets will help ❓. Going to try different primers next.

Loaded ANOTHER 250 - 6.5 Grendel. After that I am loading 50 - 35 WCF and 50 - 401 WSL and a handful of 50-70 to make me feel better about my marathon runs in the reloading room.

Hhhmmm.... Hit me up @ trailsforu@aol.com. Tried to contact via email through your profile, but maybe that's not working either?
