Over the last 3 days, I completed some test loads for 6.5X55 Swede with the Barnes 124gr LRX over RL22, loaded some 30-.06 with 170gr Lee FP over 16.0 grains of Unique, 400 rounds of .45 ACP 230gr lee TC/TG, and a half box of .45 ACP lee 200gr FP with a longer COL for testing both rounds over the powder preferred by sheriffs and outlaws!

Going to the range tomorrow, unless it rains then I will be making more pills to feed the sickness

finished loading up all my 38 spec brass! can't believe I actually ran out of clean brass, guess that means I need to go shooting this weekend. pretty impressed with the lnl ap now that I have the rhythm down and the primer working 100%, need to pick up some more shell plates.

I, after a long thought process, decided to shoot 45acp at 50 yards. I haven't used a 45acp for 30 years, seems indoors and 20 yards has spoiled me....So today I spent the morning sorting and resizing a bucket full of brass. When did they start using small primers in 45acp?? What a PITA factor!!

Cleaned the reloading bench and wiped down the presses to rid them of dust. Farming can be fun but the south Texas heat saps your energy quick. Spread 40K pounds of dry fertilizer today and even though I'm sitting down it feels like my body is still moving due to the rocking I got today.

Will go back to the farm in the morning to do some shooting though.

double check the primer tube is lined up properly, and smooth out any burrs on the shuttle with some 1000 grit sand paper. Mine occasionally hung up until I did that. I don't have the ammo plant, but the LnL has been running like a champ. There's an excellent youtube video on tips and tricks.

chucked up 20 loaded rounds that got gunked up in a cartridge belt and spun/cleaned off the goop on the brass.
    that was it.

gotta figure out what caused the gunking up. rarely worn cartridge belt left residue that looked like 'stickum'. crazy.

I always come home with more 9mm than I went with, getting to the point they just get left behind unless my Wife picks them up.

Almost finished laying down the new flooring. I have about 5 more boards to do.
The manufacturer recommended a 9mm thick spacer temporary between the flooring and the wall.
I used a 38 special case. Think I will be ok?
Hoping to put down the baseboards today and trim around the new Windows.
Can't wait to build a new bench.

Checked two lots of 260 rem brass for rings on the case head. Both have 12+ loadings. No signs of imminent failure.

I just used a scrap of flooring left over from timing for my spacers. The flooring was 8mm thick and worked well enough. I trimmed a few spots that were too long with a Dremel cutting blades ez work.
