I managed to destroy a RCBS die today. Got a case stuck in it, ripped the base off trying to undo the mistake, don't have a puller but in my all knowing of all things mind decided "aw I can get that out of there". Broke out my drill sets and started drilling. Ended up throwing it in the junk pile, ordered a new one, and if senilty doesn't kick in I will remember this and never do it again.

I emptied the tumbler of twice fired starline .44mag brass from My Chiropractor.
Bought 1,000 new cases last year, already lost over 50, from Cowboy Shooting. I guess those old guys can't see or bend over to pick up brass.
But at least all those old guys are still out there shooting.
Something I Can't do anymore. I have to shoot sitting sown for everything.
I guess I'll never get past that scrambling for every case that hits the ground. Learned it as a little kid, guess I've never got past it.

Then I sorted and boxed them. Just the way I Have Got To Do It.

I unpacked a Lee Classic Turret press, Auto disk powder measure, riser and .38 & .44 powder through expander dies. Took 1000 grit sand paper and polished the flaring nibs on the dies. Then I figured out the workings of the auto disk. Waiting on a quick change set up from Inline Fabrication so I can use the same mount for this Lee press as my Rock Chucker. I should have cleaned up and organized my bench.

A while back I got 500 primed LC 7.62 brass from Everglades. Some rejects, maybe 3-4% but all the rest chamber and fire.

    Hi all,
Yesterday, my daughter came over and we primed a whole bunch of cases (.45 Colt, .45 ACP, and .45 AR,) and then loaded 50 of the .45 Colt. Today, I finished it by loading 100 ea .45 AR and 200 .45ACP.

Loaded 10 30/40 cases with my S.G.L. 65gr OObuck sized 311 over 5gr Vectan AS accurate fast and effective the push through ram creates a nice flat spot I put facing forward think I had these clocked at 1550fps but are almost touching at 50m

Yesterday I wet tumbled 3 loads of 223 brass, resized and removed the primer crimps on another 100 223 cases and sorted about a gallon of range brass. I also sorted about 2 gallons of wheelweights that mysteriously appeared in my driveway. I may need to make a donut run pretty soon.

Today will be tumbling brass again.

Loaded up some test loads. I have a bunch of Herco, so I thought I might make a nice easy shooting 10mm load. I'm looking for 1000 fps - we shall see.

Threw away the cheap chinese digital scale. Brought out the old EXTREMLY DEPENDABLE RCBS 10-10 scale.

Loaded 400rds of .44Mag Cowboy Loads for My Chiropactor.

Stared at the 123 rounds of questionable .44Mag loads that I can either shoot up in my SRH or breakdown with 5 wacks each of an inertia hammer.

Trimmed a bunch of brass and when I got sick of that, I made some shot shells...
My buddy just got a Benelli and wants to go shoot some trap this weekend. I'm stoked to have a buddy to go with me, I've been doing the whole launch the clay then raise/sight/shoot by myself...
