About that rally point, the soap and mail boxes fall on blind eyes and deaf ears, the ballot box is manipulated,it would seem we are fast running out options....

Cast a bit over 25 lbs of boolits. Used 50/50 CWW/Pb (pure), with 1% Sn added.

The weight is split about even, betwixt a LEE TL358-158-2R six cavity ; man that thing produces quickly,
    and a new NOE TL358-175-RF 4 cavity.
That NOE mold is a joy to use. My first "nice" aluminum mold. Such a pleasure. Just a shake, and the boolits fall out.

Emptied the pot twice, that's enough at one sitting.

Just finished citric acid cleaning over a K of really dirty mixed brass and sorted the military from the commercial. It rained on the brass before it dried and I let it sit over night on the screen to dry in today's sun. It started to darken before it dried so a CC and NuFinish tumble are in order.
What happened to the passivation that citric acid was supposed to impart?
Is acid rain possibly involved? The brass was brighter than new after citric acid-cleaning.
    Information not shared. is wasted.

It's not acid rain, it's global warming. I mean climate change.

It's (we're) at fault for everything.

Made 50 rounds of reduced loads for my 308 Savage Axis using 10 grains of Unique and a lead 170 grain powder coated bullet. This is a great plinking round with a mild recoil.

I reloaded 150 rounds of 9mm, tumbled 500+ 223 brass to remove lube, now I am going to size them using my new WFT trimmer, then reload about half of them with 55gr cast boolits that I have powder coated, and the other half with 55gr FMJBT bullets. Early tomorrow I'm going to my range and unload a whole bunch of the lead ones using my Mossberg MVP.

Boxed up & drove 40 miles round trip to return a 30-06 mold that was drilled off center. Not really a, "What did I do in the Reloading room?" , but in a way it was.... Pert near, since I was gonna cast some of them & reload...

I hope to not repeat those doins & I will be reloading some more .380 tonite for shooting again tomorrow. Seems the kids & the missus like that cheap shooting more than .22 now a days.

Started sizing some of the bullets that I cast over the last few months. Finally emptied my 450 sizer so I can fix the lube leak. Got it apart and cleaned up but did not have the correct size "O" ring.

That reminds me of a time, years ago, I went deer hunting with a new guy. we both had day-packs, and one evening we were discussing what we carried afield.
He had 50 rounds of .30-06 with him.

    In the day-pack.

    Every day.

I said something like "Joe, the deer aren't going to be shooting back...."

Wow, and I thought I was carrying too much with 4 extra cartridges. I cut up the red plastic case holders like Federal puts in their shell boxes and make a poor boys case holder. Its quieter than a stripper clip and easier to use. If I'm walking I won't carry more than what fits in the magazine. I strive for the one shot one kill thing!

As far as the loading room goes, I may start prepping some 44 brass. My working stock of loaded 44's is about used up and its about time to stuff them all again. I think I have enough bullets cast up to cover this.
