    First mould

My wife wants to get my first mould as a Christmas gift. I'm wanting one that will cast 45ACP and 45Colt. I think the NOE 454 230gr HP will fill the bill nicely. But I think the same mould in the 255gr might be better. Opinions would be welcomed. Thanks!

The ACP so far, because factory ammo is less expensive. I'm hoping to change that.

The NOE 454-255 is great in the Blackhawk but I think too large for the .45ACP. The 230gr will work well in both.

Good enough. The 230 it is! I'll get the 255 another day: my birthday is in January.

a 225gr rnfp [for the 45 colt] will work perfectly in both.
ignore the crimp groove for the acp and use it or not in the 45 colt.
if I really had to narrow down my molds, that 225 rnfp I have from magma engineering would be my last 45 mold.

I simply wanted the HP option, though there are so many molds from which to choose. I'm sure the NOE won't be my only .45 mould. I already have a mould for my .32H&R picked out.
