I think I musta done something right. I'm going to load up a batch of the 300 gr and see how they do at 100 yds and beyond. I shot these at 50 yds because I didn't expect my first attempts to go so well. And I wanted to at least hit the box!
And now I must hurry, for there they go, and I am their leader.

    Highwalker,

Write that formula down in your pet loads notebook!
What cartridge and rifle are you using as a launching pad?

    Good job!

The cartridge is .444 Marlin. The rifle is a C Sharps '85 High Wall. The boolit is my design from an adjustable mold I made specifically for this rifle. My load notes book goes back over 40 yrs, and these loads are the most recent entries.
I bought my first .444 Marlin lever gun in 1970 and still use it. I've always thought the cartridge had at least as much long range potential as the 45-70, and am on a quest to see if I can take it 1000 yds at Creedmore targets.
And now I must hurry, for there they go, and I am their leader.

    Highwaller,

Great job! Your 100 yd. groups will also be great.

    Best regards,
