ggod boolit for a 44 mag rossi 92

I just got a brand new Rossi 92 and its time to buy a mold. I've been thinking the 429 - 200 RF would be easy on my lead supply. This will be used just for plinking and reduced loads. Will this feed well ? Should I look at something else? Feeding and accuracy are important

I could be mistaken but from what I have seen neither the Rossi or the Henery like semi wad cutters. The Rossi seems to be less particular than the Henry is.

I recently got a Rossi 92 44Mag. I've always liked Lyman #429421. However that bullet is too long in magnum cases. I could use a different bullet but I want to use #429421 so I've trimmed a few cases to 1.250" & the rounds cycle through the action & seem to shoot well. I've got them loaded with 21.0gr #2400 with intentions of deer hunting.

For my Henry .44 I tried my RCBS K-SWC but as noted my Henry was finiky about feeding the long bullet, I tried the Saeco #429 it was LRN-FP but would drop only .431 it feeds like a dream but I needed something larger(.432) so I went with this Accurate Mold, its a 240 grain LRN-FP sized to .432, seated at 1.580 in mag cases.

I have the Lee 200 gr. RF and my Rossi 92 shoots them good with a few grains of 231. I've never tried them with heavy loads, I have a Ranch Dog 265 gr. mold for the heavier rounds.

    I would recommend this one

get it in an RG and then you can use the light wt HPs to save on lead and blast water jugs and watermelons, then get the solid for hunting.

Because I don't like to file a meplat on a round nose boolit, that 200 Grn. RF is my favorite boolit in my 92.

The lee 200 grain rf works good in my rossi 92. Everything I've shot out of it has done well honestly. I also have the ranch dog 265 and the rossi eeally likes it.

I had to size to .432 for my 92. I have used a 310 grain ,240 grain keith and the lee 240 TL. All shoot really well. Love this gun. Shoots great.

I'll be using the lee 200grn RF and the 310grn FPGC.
