Sorry I don't have a pic handy but I will be hunting with a 4 5/8" Ruger FlatTop 45 LC.
Those are Bear Paw? Dont look like their normal profile. Look a lot more like Cary Chapmans gunfighter grips.

Same as last year. Uberti .44 Special, 252 gr. SWCHP (Miha mould) or a 260 gr. SWC (RCBS 44-250KT). Either bullet will be running right at 1000 fps.

Definitely BearPaws, notice the swell at the top of the stock. Did not know Cary had a similar design. I had a set of his (I'll say"regular profile") on a .44Spcl Flattop and found them to be slippery. Hard to maintain grip position when shooting even medium loads. Sold them and put BearPaws on that one also. Nothing against Cary's stuff does beautiful work. Just don't fit my hand quite right and as you know Handgun Stock Fit is a very individual/personal thing.Originally Posted by Markbo

That would be Dad, 80 in that pic turned 81 a couple months later. Will be 86 next February and we are hunting together this Saturday if the weather is good for me to make the drive.
