Savage 338 Win Mag. 215 grain unknown maker .339 liquid Alox. 17.5 grains of Unique.
I shot the eight point with my 6.5x55 #1. It was not cast but it was my first deer with one of my reloads.

You didn't get that deer in Florida. Most I've seen are not much bigger than my dogs. Very nice.
Congrats Tim. Considering where you live I figured it would be a hog.
They were shot in SW Georgia. I have killed 150lb deer here in FL. This buck weighed 190lbs.
Congrats on the fresh venison! That's a nice buck!
Last year I loaded my 338 win mag with the lee 220 gr and 24 gr of 2400 with no filler. Got right at 1800 fps, was quite accurate, pleasnt to shoot and very destructive on a coyote.
I didn't get a chance at a deer but I have no doubts about its capabilities.
Congrats!
Some people live and learn but I mostly just live
Good work! Not sure if that doe is dead enough, though. Might need a full power load next time!
